This is more for my own sake than anyone else's, but I got into lip tints about a year-year and a half ago at the time of The Great Clearing (accutane) and I wanted to review them somewhere. If you have a similar skin tone to me, you might like some of my favorites. Now for the most complicated analysis of a skin tone ever, I am a fair-light *MUTED* girlie with a neutral cool undertone and also I look green sometimes so that makes me suspect olive too. Clio mesh glow cushion 21C is my best match at the moment, but it could stand to be more... greenish? Grayish maybe? I can do 19C in some brands, and TIRTIR (red) I matched 17C when I tested it in store wtf holy pale I should go outside more. The ball is still out there on my season but leaning heavily towards summer mute. Also quick disclaimer, I've actually finished most of the tints here. No overconsumption, I just have full lips for someone of my racial phenotype and like to reapply (No filler, am minor). (F) denotes finished.

(F) COLORGRAM JUICY DROP TINT 01- BERRY AMAZING

My first tint ever! I ate the whole thing lmao. The shade was a neutral to cool light pink which looked surprisingly natural. Most pinks like it turn neon on me because of my evil skin. The stain was pretty light, but then again it might be because of the shade. Formula wise, it was decent. Nothing to write home about. Not too glossy, not drying, not particularly hydrating. It was quite lightweight and natural. I liked this as a base shade for other tints. There was no film forming layer.

Verdict: Certifiably the most mid tint of all time. I have no good thoughts but also no bad thoughts.

COLORGRAM FRUITY GLASS TINT 14- SULKY LYCHEE

I must say. I did not like this tint. I intend to finish it because I must but... I don't like it. I don't get the hype. The color was fine? It turned neon on me and pulled a bit orange, even though most people suggest it's neutral. The formula is where it seriously loses points though. It's supposed to be one of those film forming double layer tints, as is the trend right now but it just... fails. I hate it. The color goes on hella streaky and when the film starts to form the streaks create weird patterns on my lips. And the film forms white, I'm not trying to look like paint grandma. It was decently hydrating I guess compared to some other ones but damn the color looks so uneven.

Verdict: No the cute packaging cannot save it. I will hate regardless. The hype is unwarranted.

(F) PERIPERA INK MOOD GLOWY TINT 12- WARM-GORITHM

Ugh flashback to when I thought I had warm tones and would go out looking like a Cheeto mouth. Holy ick. Other than me getting the absolute wrong shade (it was a warm pink and I look best in mauve I think maybe idk) I really liked the formula. It was nice, glossy and moisturizing and lasted a long time. The stain I can't really speak to because I would scrub my lips after so I didn't look orange asf. If only I chose the right color smh. It's super hyped online and I actually agree. Affordable yayayay!!! One note is, as someone who is super sensitive to fragrance, the first few times I used this I got a bit of irritation from the strong sweet scent, but I was fine after. Uhhh something something packaging idk it was pink. What else do I say.

Verdict: COOL!!! TONES!!! GIVE ME MORE PERIPERA. THEN MAYBE YOU WOULD HAVE A SPOT IN MY TOP 3.

(F) CLIO CRYSTAL GLAM TINT 06- DAILY MAUVE

Well yes. I fear it may be peak. The shade? Maybe a bit dark but divine. The formula? Hydration of the gods. The shine? Could reflect every last bit of the sun and still say "Let me shine more" Ok well I might be glazing a little. That's not a crime. This is a film forming tint, and damn it does a good job with it. It was maybe a tad bit dark on me, but it was a true neutral slightly cool tint. I'm thinking about getting the shade 04 - Pale Plum if I decide to repurchase. This is my gold standard for tints. A shame it's a bit on the expensive side (15 odd dollars).

Verdict: I love it give me fifty.

ROM&ND JUICY LASTING TINT 22 - POMELO SKIN (old formula)

Hoo boy... I have some thoughts. Namely, the shade. My queen Song Jia led me astray. It gave me Cheeto mouth. God I regret the days of thinking I was warm. Genuinely I look back at old pictures what in GODS NAME was I thinking. I can't fathom how that would look good on anyone. The formula wasn't great either, not terribly "juicy" or "lasting." It dried my lips out so bad too I hated it actually why did I wear it more than once. It also irritated my lips at first due to the smell. >:((((( It was goopy too. Man, I'm getting mad just typing this. Fuck you Pomelo Skin.

Verdict: GUARDS!!!! SIEZE HIM!!! OF WITH HIS HEAD!!!!

(F) ROM&ND JUICY LASTING TINT 25 - BARE GRAPE (old formula)

So I also gave into the hype around this shade. This hype was well deserved. Dear god, she's gorgeous. Coolish guys, gals, and nonbinary pals cried tears of joy upon discovering this shade. I have the same qualms with the formula as I did with Pomelo Skin, but they say beauty is pain so I locked the fuck in and set aside my discomfort because she is that gorgeous.

Verdict: If only we could meet in another life, another formula... but it's impossible. Or is it?

ROM&ND JUICY LASTING TINT 03 - BARE GRAPE (new formula)

I'm gonna be so real right now, I *still* don't like the formula. It is, however, a HUGE improvement. I actually see that double layer gloss that they market so heavily, and it's not as aggressively drying as the old formula. But the bare grape shade is my wife and I'll never cheat on my wife. Also major glow up in packaging but less product.

Verdict: We need a Persona style fusion where you can execute two to form another but with lip tints. I want Peripera's formula and rom&nd's colors.

(F) ROM&ND DEWYFUL WATER TINT 13- CUSTARD MAUVE

Bards sing her praises, the second coming of Jesus in lip tint form, may I present Custard Mauve. I love it. I bought it and the Glasting Color Gloss in 01 Peony Ballet when it went viral because of Wonhee of ILLIT and apart from some misses like that one AOU balm that looked really strange on me and some really warm stuff Wonhee's recs never miss. Ok, so the color is like a more pinkish, lighter version of my wife (Bare Grape) which I honestly kind of loved for my especially pale days. The formula is so peak. It feels like a more hydrating version of Colorgram Juicy Drop Tint and has a natural ass finish like I only did Aquaphor and not a whole nine layers of gradation tint. It builds super well and never feels oopy goopy. HOWEVER THERE IS A MAJOR FLAW. The packaging sucks butt. It explodes everywhere and the tint stains everything in your pocket or bag or whatever. I'm looking at lilac cream right now and keep having to tell myself no...

Verdict: Get this bitch a new bottle and she's perfect.

(F) DINTO BLUR-GLOWY LIP TINT MINI 257- AVE MARIA

Ave Maria is a suitable name because ohmygod it's so perfect. This is like the perfect pale purply browny muted grayish tint ever and ahhhhhohmygoditssopretty. It's a film former but also like the shiniest most glassy tint ever. It's ultra hydrating and that double layer is insaneeeeee. The color is true to how it looks when you first apply it and the tint lasts for a while. So does the gloss, which is kind of shocking because my lips are so dry and I constantly rub them. I just wish it wasn't always sold out on Jolse, Dinto tints are too expensive for me otherwise... heh, I would be jorkin it and by it I mean... *chuckles* My peanits. Genuinely I could goon to this tint. Could and would.

Verdict: Mother of tint Jesus.

(F) LAKA FRUITY GLAM TINT MINI 122- LUCY

Local noob thinks asian means warm tone strikes again. What the fuck was this shade choice. Neon orange is not the vibe. The horrific cheetocolor aside, I loved the formula. It was really lightweight, moisturizing, and dewy but not like in your face glossy. One complaint is that it seemed to be clean beauty which made it smell a little funny at the end of it's life, but honestly that might be because I would keep it in my pocket in the hot ass Texas summer (100+ Fahrenheit, 38+ Celsius). Honestly I could go into a whole rant about clean beauty but that's for another time. Also, this tint tastes good, not that I would know. I'm going to give this another shot in a more neutral color (Maro or Summer).

Verdict: Color buffoonery, formula is so close to perfection. I just need preservatives.

AMUSE JEL-FIT TINT 05- OAT FIG

Now this is going to shock and wow you all. This tint is warm but!!! I can wear it!!!! No orange!!!! My lips aren't the POTUS!!!! An impulse buy from Yami, I needed it for free shipping. I think it cost me under $5 on a normally 20 dollar tint. Stonks. I actually have a second shade, if that tells you anything at all. This tint is the perfect browny warm pink, it looks so refined on my mom who's like nine shades darker with a warm undertone, and on me I see almost none of that ever-present orange. Amuse, Dinto and rom&nd can really do a shade. Formula is really amazing, I find it to be cushy and super hydrating while also being lightweight. It's so shiny and mmm and let me have it on my lips right now its so joyous and happy of a tint.

Verdict: I fucking love it. If Dinto is the father, Rom&nd is the son, this is the Holy Ghost.

AMUSE JEL-FIT 06- SEOUL GIRL

In mother Wonyoung we trust. She says jump, we say how high? She says buy, we say I'm going to wait to find this for the cheapest I possible can on Yami or Jolse and buy then. Well, JWY was right. She picked right. Seoul Girl is a cool tone deep shade which is an almost reddish purple which normally I'd stay away from because I suit lighter shades better. But it's great for the inside of your lips for that ulzzang gradient look. I've been saving her because she's so expensive, but I can feel I'm close to finishing her which is so so sad. Also mine has hello kitty on it so many bonuses are to be had. This tint also stains like nobody's business and lasts fivever. I wish it wasn't clean but it seems to be holding up just fine. I also wish it had some pale cool colors because I love those. But for this formula I take what's given to me.

Verdict: I will not doubt idol makeup recs I know they're all paid to promote but damn they never miss.
