Rolag time!! (While I wait for the hockey to start)
I’m learning to not treat piglet’s fiber as too precious to touch. I struggle to let myself learn. I tend to want to wait for some impossible future where I’m perfect with no practice.
I’ve been learning to hand card and roll punis with 100% angora because life is too short to let your bunny’s fiber sit untouched in a bag
Today's tasks: hiding from responsibilities, and spinning this box of rolags.
It's a gloomy day here, so I mixed up a little rainbow! These beauties are 50% alpaca, 26% hand-dyed merino locks, 12% Targhee wool, and 12% copper firestar.

Rolags to yarn! Just experimenting with this fiber prep. LOVED the spin on them. I didn’t love the purple bleps, but I’m weird. They are pretty, just not my taste.
8 more rolags done. Definitely shouldn't have done that last one. Having a lot of problems with my right wrist which is not ideal.
Really beautiful weather out here though. The first false spring so far this year xD.
Also, noticed this bag needs some mending. It's quite an old bag and some of my earliest handspun so I'm pretty pleased how long it lasted before needing repairs. Even now, it's a stable rip (not expanding as the stitches are semi felted into place) and pretty minor. I'll shore up the handles before bringing it out again though.
Some spring wool and other random bits (including grass) rolags
