↳ 1. His feelings about his scars and prosthesis are kinda mixed. He’s proud of himself for his determination to thrive despite the odds of a redblood surviving a fall that took out most of his body, and in many ways finds his cybernetic parts very cool (if a pain to look after like jfc so many joints). In the same breath, he knows his appearance is odd and tends to be the first thing about him that draws the eye, so they can make him very self conscious. Not ashamed necessarily, but highly aware of himself and his appearance whenever someone stares for too long.
↳ 2. His secret love is dating sims- he himself never spends a lot of time building quadrants, regardless of whether they’re pale or flushed or ashen, the idea of it never interested him beyond the necessity of providing genetic material. But he will spend several hours at a time playing various sims, and is kinda defensive / embarrassed about it to boot.
↳ 3. As a lowblood without a particularly impressive or historically relevant ancestor, Rohati hasn’t received a very extensive / detailed schooling. Much of his childhood was spent fighting for his life among other trolls, so he is uneducated and has a tough time with reading. But this doesn’t necessarily make him stupid! Erring more towards street smart than book smart, Rohati is an unexpectedly thoughtful troll, albeit one who funnels most of his talents into his own survival. Wordy concepts escape him, but difficult /abstract concepts ( esp. verbal ones ) are relatively easy for him to digest and give thoughts on if he’s given the time.
↳ 4. An extension of 3 : Rohati often underestimates his own intelligence, and openly discusses his own lack of it without any kind of bitterness. Despite his low opinion of himself, he does have a keen sense of danger (due to his survivalist nature) and a very perceptive mind. His main issue lies in the fact that he’ll often dismiss his own feelings as paranoid or unfounded, because he ultimately really does think that he’s an idiot.
↳ 5. He’s not pacifistic. He’ll avoid a fight if possible, especially with a highblood because he knows that he’ll lose- relying more on keeping up a calm, friendly discussion before anything else to avoid conflict. But, ultimately, Rohati’s still a troll and so even if his patient, amiable nature is genuine, if worst comes to worst he’s never been afraid to fight when directly threatened or pushed. ( TL;DR will for survival > passive, friendly nature )
↳ 6. Rohati is impressively relaxed, even for a caste not especially known for their fierce tempers. Without threat of bodily harm he’s happy to sit and exchange conversation with even the most prickly of trolls, if they’ll allow it. He’s not offput by brash or rude personalities, and sometimes even finds people with a stronger presence reassuring since they tend to point him in a direction he finds easy to follow.
↳ 7. Rohati’s stance on the hemospectrum is also kinda complicated. He, like most lowbloods, instinctively mistrusts highbloods and adheres pretty well to social expectations around them. But he’s also friendly enough to strike up a chat with anyone that doesn’t prove an immediate danger, no matter where they fall on the spectrum ( even if he’s less laid back with anyone but other rustbloods ). He has a few more private thoughts on inequality in the castes and distaste for the treatment of lowbloods but, like- not enough to be radical or a true hemorebel. He’s more along the lines of someone who’ll be friendly with anyone even if he distrusts them, and privately disapproves of the system but doesn’t imagine it’ll ever actually change.
↳ 8. He’s naturally pretty talented at moirallegiance. He doesn’t mean to, but his personality makes him surprisingly nurturing and quick to comfort another troll, even if he barely knows them. He sometimes catches himself and apologizes for his palecoddling, but just as often he’s totally oblivious to the vibes that he puts out. He sucks at ashen romance, like- he literally just sucks at it. He’s terrible at extended animosity and competition. Just the worst.
↳ 9. His lusus, while called MoleDad, is actually more monstrous than the name lets on. Many-eyed and many-legged, with a rodent-like body and face, it’s more the perfect combination of a spider and a mole than anything. Almost completely blind and very sensitive to light and sound, and larger than your standard warmblood lusus, it prefers to live underground. The two used to live in a more urban area, with their old hive being half-buried under the pavement, until Rohati’s lusus began growing sicker and more unpredictable; forcing the two to move out into the forest.
↳ 10. Rohati is very fond of his lusus, and the two have been close all his life. The two now have a very strained relationship because of the illness in his caretaker. A combination of Rohati’s increasingly fruitless attempts to keep his lusus alive - including moving out to the middle of nowhere so that he could be more comfortable away from more predatory lusii and less dangerous to other trolls- and MoleDad’s becoming more and more possessive and protective in his addled state, finally drove an undeniable wedge between the two after sweeps of effort. Rohati now lives in the city, away from his dying lusus, and visits twice a wipe to check on him and add more food to the feeder he constructed to look after his dad while he’s away. He has, currently, all but given up on hope of his survival and is more or less just waiting for MoleDad to die.
(He still won’t let anyone talk shit about his lusus though. He loves his dad to death and is going to be devastated when he DOES actually pass)
