Brenton cast his eyes around the drinks tent for the next person to approach about bidding on him in the auction and a sly smile appeared on his face when his eyes fell on one person in particular. Perhaps the last man in the world who Brenton would want a date with and yet getting him to bid on him would be perfect for his game. All the people who had thought Brenton’s energy would be better suited to Gryffindor than Slytherin could be proven wrong as he made his way over. He was perfect. Lots of money, and a good encouragement to certain other people around to bid in retaliation just in case Brenton was to be an odd choice of brotherly gift. “Lestrange,” he greeted with a cordial smile. Conversation between the two of them hadn’t exactly been aplenty since everything that had happened with Rabastan but in some ways that made this even easier. Brenton didn’t care what Rodolphus made of the suggestion, as long as he considered it. “I have a proposition for you. Were you planning on bidding in the auction? In the name of charity, of course. I would never presume you to have eyes for anybody other than your wife.”
