Shamelessly stealing the meme idea from @toshitophchan. I hope you can forgive me. Full credit for the idea tbh.

Am I aware that to just read all of Deltora Quest, I don't HAVE to read The Three Doors Trilogy, Rowan of Rin, Star of Deltora and the bonus books, Tales of Deltora and Secrets of Deltora? Yes. I am. Do I care? No.

I'm going to read them all. I just need to find the two bonus books, and the first three books for Star of Deltora.

I found out about the rest of the series because we were cleaning my room and going through a bunch of stuff that belonged to my older sibling, and they, for some reason, had the fourth book in the Star of Deltora series, and I realised that the, The Land of Dragons book I got at the same time as the third Deltora Quest series is an in between book between Deltora Quest and The Three Doors Trilogy, and looked more into it, and found out that Rowan of Rin and Star of Deltora are both also connected to Deltora Quest in some way. At least, in the same universe.

I looked it up and it says the recommended reading order is:

Deltora Quest 1

Deltora Shadowlands (DQ2)

Dragons of Deltora (DQ3)

The Three Doors

Rowan of Rin

Star of Deltora

I'm assuming, since there is a linking book between Dragons of Deltora and The Three Doors Trilogy, that that is the correct order, but I wanna know about the rest. Including the bonus books. The reason I wanna know for sure, is because Rowan of Rin was originally published BEFORE the Deltora Quest series. So idk if that should also be read before it, or after. And google won't tell me where to put the two bonus books between it all. I know, it being called bonus books probably means they can just be read after all the other series, but I wanna know if maybe there is a place between the other series they should be read.

Or rather, how somehow none of the other peasants notice anything unusual about Sharn and Endon in their "humble blacksmith and his wife" disguise.

Holden Caulfield from the catcher in the rye - This is a book about a Teenage boy called Holden who skips school and wanders around New York calling everyone phoney. Yeah, I love catcher in the rye, it’s my fav book I don’t care if I’m a red flag anymore I’ve embraced it. I love Holden. So many people hate holden and I get it, but i generally think people should be kinder to him and the sort of person he represents (teenagers who feel lost and weird who have PTSD). let him complain about how phoney people are alright? His biggest sin is being a whiny little bitch and that's it and people hate him like he personally killed John Lennon. Sorry I’ll get off my soap box

John Constantine from Hellblazer - This is a comic book series (and moive and Tv show) about the antihero Constantine described by wiki as a working-class warlock, occult detective, exorcist, and con man. The series is him getting into hijinks and everyone he loves dying in horrible ways. He's so aggressively British it’s not even funny. Fundamentally believe this is the most blorbo man ever. you can spend hours rotating this man in your mind. I honestly haven’t read the more recent hellblazers though so I don’t know what they’re doing to my bisexual king right now.

Tom (Thomas) Moysten from Raven hill mysteries/teen power inc. - This is an Australian 90s children’s book series, mostly out of print. Fun fact I spent a lot of my early childhood in Australia and this was my fav book series. It’s about a group of teenagers who have a little help for hire business and end up getting into tonnes of mysteries. Tom is this dorky lanky guy who tells a lot of jokes and has a rough home life and is really good at art. I've always seen myself in him, and he is my favourite character of all time ever. I generally love him so much. I put him further down because I'm getting soppy. Also, he’s not blonde in my mind, he's much more gangly and has brown hair.

Dale cooper from twin peaks TV show about a teenage girl who gets murdered, and a hot FBI agent is called in to find the killer. Supernatural weirdo show. "Diane, it’s 2015, 11pm on a school night, and I’ve just discovered twin peaks and fallen in love at first sight with Dale Cooper." He’s weird. Kind. Respectful. Hot. Yep. Every single thing about dale cooper is just made for me in a lab. I want him so bad. I love him. Your honour, give me Mr dale cooper thank you.

Dr Gregory House from House MD - Medical drama sherlock adaptation. He's such a fucking arse I love him. Disability rep. You can suck and have a limp <3 Inspiring.

Dave Lister from Red Dwarf - British science fiction comedy from the late 80s. The human race has all died except for one guy, and it's this guy! Red Dwarf was actually iconic for saying the last survivor of the human race should be a mixed race scouser who loves a chicken vindaloo, and is a massive slob. Yeah they were correct he is the best of humanity.

Kara “Starbuck” Thrace from Battlestar Galactica. Tv show about Robots who look like humans. Political drama space show The earliest crush i remember ever having. She was originally a guy in the 80s tv show, but they gender swapped her in the remake. She is the best pilot in the fleet, a maverick in every sense of the word, charming but so rude and difficult. The sort of character that women NEVER get to be on tv shows. She is so so so good. Plus she is so beloved by the narrative. All of the best plots go to Starbucks, everyone seems to love her in the crew even those who hate her, she is practically immortal, and clearly the writers’ favourite character. And she’s hot af.

Lisa Nova from brand new cherry flavour - Tv show about a director (Lisa) who's movie is stolen by some big shot so she curses him and then ummmm crazy shit happens. Horror, don't watch if you're squeamish ...My fav Tv show “I need your pubes so i can put a curse on you” gal. fuck yeah. She a crazy fucking bitch i love her. Also i love how much she loves art she is like i have to create or i'll die. Yeah same. Let me go think about the side wound fucking scene again. Re-wired my brain

Clare from ACOTAR Yeah. Who cares. I put Laura Palmer here because that's how i see her alright. Similar characters in my mind. Maybe i project laura onto her who's to say.

Audrey Horne from Twin peaks - She was a close friend of said dead girl in Twin peaks. Tragically unloved girly. Mean girl who has a terrible relationship with her father who prefers the young girl he's praying on to her. :( Ugh. Bby. :( Sexualised from an early age, and ending up using that as her only weapon because that's all she thinks she has :(. Dale being nice to her despite her crush :(. I am a big Dale and Audrey shipper.

Fire from the Graceling series. - Fantasy YA, magical world where some people have "Graces" (special skills). Second book is about "monsters" (animals which are beautiful and can read thoughts. our main girl and her dad are the first human like monsters (the rest are like rabbits lol. This had a big impact on me when i was young. Fire is extremely beautiful and can read minds. Where this was helpful for her father (who became a king because of it) for her ... she is exposed to extreme sexism. Despite this she is still kind. Really interesting story about sexism.

katniss - you know who katniss is lol. yeah she’s cool. Everything about how cool katniss is has already been said.
