Smth we ignore abt Rev Putty a little too much is that he is still incredibly homophobic, even after accepting Stephanie as his daughter. It’s almost like he sees her as an exception to his rule and at the start he even asked her to hide the fact that they are related because of who Stephanie is, “we don’t have to tell anyone abt this” or whatever he said. I’d like to think that he becomes less bigoted towards others as a result of spending more time with Stephanie and maybe even sees the harm that he indirectly causes to Stephanie by pushing certain values as a person who has a lot of authority over the way people think in moralton
