hey iron lung folks, if you want to see more weirdo horror movies like iron lung, y'all should check out scarecrow video. they are a nonprofit dedicated to film preservation and the largest video rental store in the world, with tens of thousands of unique titles
they have tons of weirdo horror movies that will never be on streaming, available for digital purchase, internet archive, etc etc. they're based in seattle, but they do a rent by mail program, and it's available for most of their titles! i've done it! they're super cool people!!
you should rent iron lung from them once the physical release comes out! (and then return it on time so that other people can rent and watch it.) especially if iron lung isn't on streaming! even if iron lung IS on streaming! and then also rent other weird horror movies to go apeshit over!!!
alternatively, if you can't afford to rent from scarecrow (or don't want to), you should ask your local libraries to buy iron lung and whatever other movies you may want. or books! most libraries let you request titles, be it books, movies, music or whatever else. i've done it before. it's super cool!
you're still supporting mark, authors, filmmakers, etc. through these methods, since scarecrow and libraries need to buy the titles. the more a title gets checked out, be it scarecrow or a library, the more copies that they buy to keep up with demand
fuck netflix, go support scarecrow and your local library
