((before I forget to announce this for the upteenth time:
Robin and Robin variants are autistic.
I need old, wisened Damian keeping robins as pets and choosing the new Robin by handing them a robin like: "They are my namesake and my family, now they are yours as well, Robin."
...
The need to have Damian teeny forever and the need to have him finally grown up are having a smash ultimate style cage match in my head.
As a follow up to yesterdays post about Robin + collecting books, I also headcanon that post-Enies Lobby Robin collects various teas and wines from the islands the Thousand Sunny visits.
But she doesn't collect teas and wines because of archaeology or anything like that, instead she does it purely because she can. Because she loves the taste of both tea and wine, and because for the first time in her life she has a stable place she can call home, and can enjoy life for the sake of just enjoying life. She spent so long living not for herself, but for those she lost, that's she's only just now starting to indulge in things she enjoys.
And those teas and wines don't just sit around, either. She is frequently either enjoy a glass with Franky, Brook and Jinbei, or sipping tea with Nami and Chopper while reading her books. She collects them to enjoy them, not just to keep them.
i need to yap more about my headcanons on here and post them in the tags
anyways.
i like to think at every island that robin stops by, she picks up a fictional novel that was written by someone on the island. she started doing this when she worked for crocodile, because it was the first time in her life that she had some semblance of stability, and it continued after she became a member of the straw hat crew.
and if youβre wondering why itβs a fictional novel specifically, thatβs because fiction can often tell you about the history of a place, at least during a specific time period. sheβs always careful to check her own biases, and to consider how the themes of the stories she reads fit in with what she knows, but she also understands as an archaeologist that art is an important facet of human history and deserves to be preserved.
the library of the sunny is filled with dozens of such books, and guests on board are always encouraged to read them as they like, as robin views the sharing of art to also be an important facet of human history. she also loves talking about some of her favorite novels with people who take the time to read them.

Do you think everyone in one piece is very confused? I mean why tf does a 9 year old have a bounty?
We know as viewers, but do ppl just assume?
"Hell yeah new world record, must've refused too many hugs" or some shit like that
I saved this screenshot, with the intention of saying something about it.
But honestly the only thing that comes to mind is just a rehash of what I've said a million times, lol. This arc is Robin-centric, in a way. Not entirely, but there is definitely an emphasis on this being an important arc both for Robin, and for us, the reader, to understand her.
Robin has discovered crewmates who seem to care for her, and who have a much more... Free sense of adventure and what it means to be a pirate, yes. But she has also stumbled upon some of the first evidence of the Void Century in over 20 years. Her dream is not dead, as she thought it was after the disastrous events of Alabasta, and is still obtainable.
What a beautiful moment.
It is interesting seeing Robin fighting for the first time since Alabasta.
In Alabasta, she seemed a lot more expressive with her emotions in her fights. I do think part of that was that "Ms All Sunday" was a persona she built separate from her normal personality, in order to survive, especially since we know from later on this calm demeanor is Robin's true personality, but it's interesting to see the differences.
There are still times where her emotions are shown on her face, or through her words, though. For the most part she shows her anger at the destruction of the past through her fighting, but in this panel we get to see more of just how angry she really was.
