Marmont Hill "Stand-In Girl" by Robert Jones
The music plays all night in Little Italy, The lights will be going up on old Rockafella's tree. People window shoppin' on 5th avenue, All I want for Christmas is you.
\В «Маленькой Италии» всю ночь звучит музыка, Лампочки зажигаются на Rockafella's ёлке. Люди ходят за покупками на 5-ю Авеню, Всё, что мне нужно на Рождество, — это ты.\
All Alone on Christmas
Y'all, this post is specifically dedicated to Scott Carty and Robert Jones, voices of Ned Nickerson and Joe Hardy respectively - two PERFECTLY cast actors who have held their characters down VERY NEARLY for the length of the entire series.
(Joe has been consistently voiced by Jones. Ned first appeared in Stay Tuned for Danger, voiced by a different actor. But then Carty voiced Charlie in Message in a Haunted Mansion and had such perfect Boyfriend Voice™ that right after that they brought him back for Ned and the rest is history, I guess.)
Both of their performances are so synonymous with the characters for me. Every time one of them speaks, I'm always like "YES. THIS IS HOW THIS CHARACTER SHOULD SOUND. THIS IS PERFECT."
Adore them.
For those who don't know, since yesterday Silvia has:
been poisoned by Elias in person
assumed that Elias was trying to blackmail her on Jamie's behalf
told Jones "help i'm being blackmailed"
on Jones's instructions, written back to Elias asking what the terms of the blackmail are
asked Caoimhe if she could stay the night with her because she's scared
got hit with the old "and there was only one bed" with Caoimhe >:)
received a letter back from Elias explaining, "Silvia I'm not blackmailing you, I'm threatening you! Drop the Marvellous because I regret playing it... or else"
agreed to meet Elias at Beatrice's but Jones will also be there
oh by the way Jones and Elias have a history??
and Jones got Shaw involved to investigate Elias (not knowing Shaw was Shaw) even though Silvia purposefully didn't tell Shaw about the poisoning
i don't even think that's everything 👍

Savage Dragon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 (September 1993) by Mirage Studios
Written by Erik Larsen and Michael Dooney, drawn by Dooney and Robert Jones.
So, Robert Jones is a Black American who fought in world war I, and was captured by the Germans, and then when the war was over, all of the white American soldiers were bartered for but he was just left there a rot, so that eventually the Germans just let him out and gave him a job as a servant and now he has been kidnapped on a airship going to the center of the earth without being told that that's where they're going and without the option to leave at any point because this was supposed to just be a test flight to see if it would get into the air, with everybody thinking that they would be landing again and then making the proper voyage at some later point. Until the three rich white guys in charge of the trip decided spur of the moment to make the test flight the actual voyage without consulting anyone but themselves.
That could make for a great story if you were a person who thought that racism and exploitation was bad.
Edgarice Burroughs though is neither of those things.
