Roddy McDowall as flamboyantly eccentric music producer Tony Krum in the Warner Bros./Gene Nelson musical comedy The Cool Ones (aka: Cool, Baby, Cool), 1967. Roddy's character was based on real-life flamboyantly eccentric (and mad as a box of frogs) music producer Phil Spector, who was later convicted of murder following the shooting death of actress and House of Blues hostess Lana Clarkson at his Los Angeles area castle in 2003.
