it is a bi-monthly podcast that gets new episodes the 1st and the 15th of every month

this wonderful company, called commonplace books, has these wonderful people-  Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor who wrote this wonderful podcast, and Fink also is the producer of it, i think

welcome to night vale is- "A friendly desert community where the sun is hot, the moon is beautiful, and mysterious lights pass overhead while we all pretend to sleep. Welcome to Night Vale."

You can also call it absolutely amazing and brilliant. 

But in seriousness, it is narrated by Cecil Baldwin (that's also the guy's real name) whose soothing and amazing radio host voice tells you in community radio style, about the day to day events of a wonderful little town called Night Vale. 

These day to day events involve the Sheriff's secret police, a secret government agency, dead interns, a dog park that you should never go to, angels who live with old woman josie, and lights that float above Arby's. 

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL

That oh so wonderful radio host I was telling you about, Cecil? As you go through the episodes- you'll begin to see that our professional radio host iS JUST THE CUTEST LITTLE GUY WITH A REALLY SOOTHING VOICE WITH AN ADORABLE CRUSH

ON THIS LOVELY SCIENTIST MAN NAMED CARLOS. Who has beautiful perfect dark hair and everyone loves him. 

tHERE are also other reoccurring characters- such as Old Woman Josie, the racist Apache Tracker, the Mayor whose name currently slipped my mind and other people as well. I CANNOT TELL YOU EVERYTHING. 

the more you listen the more you learn about the town, the more you learn about cecil and oh god some of the stuff they say is some of the most thought provoking things ever
