As the co-director of the whole “Run! BTS” series, you’d say Namjoon really is blessed with the power of destruction.

You are the one in charge of checking props with the stage manager before and after filming, and often time you have to get extra budget to cover any potential damage, because almost always, Namjoon breaks something.

However, besides the headache he brought you during work, you guys are really good friends in private. He told you a lot of his insecurities he had and kept away from other members when they first debuted, and you are very glad you were able to make him feel better.

The personal relationship between you and him escalated quite naturally, you share a lot of common perspectives on certain matters, which naturally made you guys close.

The other members constantly teased about how Namjoon never had the guts to confess to you, and you would just tell them to stop while actually dying to know.

You like him, and you don’t want to stay as his “best friend at work”. The fact the other members sense the chemistry between you just further motivated you to confess.

One day you just couldn’t hold it in anymore, and asked him to go see a movie with you.

Your plan was to tell him on your way back to BigHit, that way you’d have abundant time to rehearse what you were gonna say in your head during the movie, but the plot took a quite spectacular twist that you never expected.

When Namjoon and you were halfway through the movie, you heard something fell on the floor, then the sound of him reaching out to grab it, and finally a loud bang of him hitting his head on the seat in front of him.

You leaned over to check if he was ok, and did him a favor by picking whatever it was on the floor up. You looked at it for a brief second out of pure curiosity, and realized it was a small jewelry box.

He took the box away from you kind of aggressively, then immediately apologized for overreacting.

You told him not to worry about it, but just got more and more curious about the jewelry box and whom it is for.

You didn’t end up paying attention to the movie at all, and neither were you in the mood of confessing anymore.

But on your way back to BigHit, Namjoon suddenly stopped you, and after making sure there’s no one around you guys, he pulled out the jewelry box that you’ve been curious about this entire time.

“Y/N, you um... You have always been one of my best friend you know. ” He started his underprepared speech very poorly.

You thought you were getting straight up friend zoned by your crush.

“And I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with it, I mean I intend for it to stay that way you know... ”He kept going with his friend-zone speech, while clumsily opening the box. Of course he almost dropped it, but you already predicted it and caught it before it was too late.

It was a handmade bracelet that had your favorite purple stones on it.

Just by the look of it, you already knew he must’ve spent so much time braiding and decorating it.

“I feel like all I ever brought you are troubles... and never got the chance to thank you. I really appreciate what you do for me... oh and for BTS, too. ”

Ok, still getting friend zoned.

“So I was just thinking maybe we can be, you know, something different, like, I mean still- ”

“Kim Namjoon.” This awful impromptu was just getting way too long and way too out of hand, so you decided to cut to the chase for him: “Are you asking me out?”

“I- ”

“Shhhh——, That was a Yes or No question.”

He paused, and cleared his throat a little before he mumbled something.

That was the cutest and yet most chaotic confession you could’ve ever imagined, but just because you are going out with him now, doesn’t mean you are not mad about that stupid friend zone impromptu anymore.
