Misses Lanyon to bits. Yes, the argument was so bad they didn’t speak for around a decade but aside that Lanyon was his best friend for years.

Lanyon was the first person he even revealed himself to in the book, so of course he would’ve missed him dearly.

This is pretty much canon but he hates throwing wine/dinner parties, he only holds them to raise his societal reputation and relationship with his friends.

I personally headcanon that he isn’t a big fan of Chardonnay or red wine, but when at others parties he sucks it up and drinks them nonetheless to avoid being seen as rude.

He tried for years to create the potion for Hyde and each time it would fail he would end up depressed for days.

Mostly sleeping or moping around his house.

Like, his butler ended up sitting in his room with him for a bit because he was so worried.

Acts all high and mighty in front of his maids and butlers to uphold his upper class stance on them and pretends to enjoy their conversations about politics and dances.

A little fruity probably.

Struggles with love but also seems as if he has no time for it, he is so focused on creating the potion for Hyde he refuses to seek out a partner or focus on anyone at all.
