i am forgetful as shit so i decided to write a spontaneous little poem instead:

Nevermind, it's just fine,

Even if you asked me now

And here in front of me.

I would never let go of myself,

See?

I just forgot the next line -

For goodness sake I gasp how?

How could you shut up?

For a second, for a minute, a day -

Don't put me next to Alisha, Rose, May

Or Carlos in your book shelf!

(which clearly has another function, my dear)

I want to be treated unique.

I am me, just me, me and me.

You make me forget myself,

Why it's important to stand by me -

And other things I can barely remember.

Because of you.

A visible smile you have, my freak,

It's as cold as freezing December,

Which I really don't want to remember.

(at least one thing you're good at)
