The news of Royal Entertainment has caused a buzz on every social media platform throughout the day. Pictures have already started circulating of how some areas look both inside and outside including the producing rooms and the rooftop terrace. What most fans are looking forward to, though, is the organic café, and all the attention its been getting is for a reason.

Once the doors officially open on the 5th of June, the organic café will be open for the public and also hold a special event during its first few days. From the 5th to the 9th of June, special merch will be offered alongside any drink or food you order at the café. The merch includes glass water bottles, porcelain mugs, and cup holders with your favorite Royal artists’ logo on them. These are all considered limited edition and will only be available during the announced dates or until the end of stock.

Rumor has it idols may stop by at any given time... will you be lucky enough to spot them?

it’s safe to say that rose was surprised and taken back by the news of royal moving to a brand new building. that, and she’s excited. to her though, it only seemed like yesterday that the big five were brought out by samsung. the seocho facility still seemed big and new to her at times, even though she spent more time there than anywhere else. still, she definitely has an appreciation for a change in scenery. two, coming on three years in one place can be a little too much at times.

it’s even better that they have an organic cafe attached to the building. sure, it was open to the public but trainees could use it, couldn’t they? organic generally means healthy, and rose did like frequenting cafes nearby their old building and seocho. a new menu to try out seemed to be a good thing. these past few weeks had a lot of new things coming forth, not just the new building, but new faces. scouted from the second round of the triple threat challenge, one of those new faces was nana. upon first glance, rose was floored by how unbelievably beautiful she was. 

rose had made it her mission to get to know all royal trainees, new and old. she wasn’t a junior trainee anymore, and being one of the older trainees, rose felt as though it was only the right thing to do. she was making some progress ( slow progress, but progress at that ). so rose doesn’t hesitate on approaching nana; she figures she might as well ask her if she wants to grab a coffee or a bite to eat at the new cafe. maybe they could scope out the new merchandise royal had released and get to know one another. it was the least she could do.

“Okay, Agent. We have our orders, now it’s time to put them into action  Literally,” Sejeong said from behind the facemask she was wearing.  K.arma promotions were over at this point, but she still had to be careful about being spotted, especially where she was with one of the male trainees from her company.  They were playful like a brother and sister at most, it seemed, but she knew better than to cross what little fans her and her group may have gotten.  A baseball cap pulled low helped obscure her eyes as well.  They were just about to place their order, waiting in line at Royal’s new cafe, with one of K.arma’s managers silently rolling their judgemental eyes at the two members of TRC they had to watch.

the new royal building it just as impressive as he thought it would be all big and new and shiny. it looks just what he would expect of a company thats probably making bank with the popularity of luxe. “heard there’s a like organic cafe or something.” he mutters, head tilting over to look at hyunggu who he had dragged here with him. he’s half aiming to see if he can spot any one he knows--but he actually doesnt know royal trainees... so maybe thats a bust. 

his hand slips into his short pockets and he starts walking into the building. wanting nothing more than to get out of the heat of the sun and to check out the place that everyone has been hyping about. and by everyone, he just means the one group of buskers who always do luxe songs. they’ve mentioned the new building a thousand times over which is what prompted them to even come.

If Yuta was honest, he didn’t know what he was doing at the new Royal building. Everyone had been whispering about it and he’d seen the announcements. He had had little intention to go there until his sister had messaged him, asking if he could go and try to secure her some Brave Girls or Luxe merchandise. If she wasn’t pregnant, he would have made it clear to her that it was a ‘no’ and he wasn’t wasting his free time going there. Somehow it had slipped his mind until he arrived at the doors that he could have simply asked Jaehyun to pick up what his sister wanted -- it would have saved him a trip. The noise and clamour made Yuta crinkle his nose. Usually he didn’t mind the energy of crowds, but he’d already spent most of his day training and all he wanted to do was go home and rest.

Although mostly settled between them things were still quite awkward with Dowoon at the time, mainly because Eric had found himself spilling a lot of things unintentionally that he wasn’t even fully aware of himself. In the heat of the moment they had just come out, and he was still relatively affected by their argument. However, he also realised that things couldn’t stay this way -- at least he thought that far now -- and thus he had begun looking for ideas on how to reconcile properly. That was how Eric had found his feet leading his path to the newly opened Royal cafe. Honestly Dowoon had probably visited it already what not with how it was literally connected to the Royal building, but this was a place he wanted to go to together. A place of hope and dreams that they both shared and that Eric was now more sure wasn’t just Dowoon’s but also his own.

It’s the morning of the 15th when all staff and trainees are told that an important announcement is to be made. They are all crammed into the diner, although not every staff member is present — some of them already know.

Once people are calm and comfortable, a path is created for one of Royal Entertainment’s main representatives to walk through and get in a position most could see him. He clears his throat and asks for everybody’s attention. There’s still clear gossip coming from around the room raising suspicions as to what exactly was going to be said, but the man is quick to get things through.

“Good morning to all. This announcement is being made so that you heard this from us first instead of the news.” There’s a brief pause for those who are chatting to pause, and then he continues. “Yesterday your higher ups made a decision that will impact us all in a, of course, good light. At the start of next month, Royal Entertainment will finally move headquarters to a new and upgraded building nearly 3.5 times bigger than this one.” He smiles. “At the rate our company has grown, this building stopped being enough to fit us all a long time ago, as can be seen by how you were all crammed into this one room.”

Chatter slowly starts again, but the man doesn’t bother stopping it anymore. “The building will still be found in this same district, Dongdaemun-gu, but in a better location. If it’s further from your home there will be better bus routes that’ll be able to take you there. Each staff member and trainees will receive the exact address throughout the day so that you may start planning how your routine will change after this. We look forward to your presence in the new headquarters. Now, please, let’s all get back to our business.”

Idols received the news of the move privately on the same day. While the new building will be officially opened to the public on the 5th of June, staff and trainees will start their activities on Monday, June 3rd.

yewon isn’t that familiar with idols, but she figures as long as she’s at the new royal cafe, she should browse the selection of exclusive merch nevertheless. it is a limited-time offer, after all. and who knows-- maybe one day when she’s an idol, she’ll meet luxe and she can say she has their official cupholder. maybe she’ll have her own cupholder.

her eyes are roaming over the shelves as she sips her black coffee. there’s one section she hasn’t looked at yet, but right as yewon steps over, a taller guy steps at the same time. they bump into each other. “ah, sorry,” yewon apologizes with a small bow of her head. “i guess you were looking at the luxe items, too.”
