Alec Monopoly mural on Rivington and Bowery, Lower East Side, New York City.
We made it into the city! Well, almost. We made it to Rivington, which is just outside the city!
We found a young girl named Yenna and helped her out, which prompted some... different views from Minthara. I can't tell if she means well or not, but I definitely do not condone slavery, so we'll pass on her ideas
And another DurgeTav kiss for good luck :D

Plants of Baldur's Gate 3
Rivington Edition
I love to examine set-dressing plants in video games. So I took some snapshots to see if I could find real-life counterparts to the flora of Rivington.
Coastal Morning Glory (Ipomoea cairica)?
Some beautiful ivy, Hedera helix.
Grapevines (Vitis vinifera)!
Some sheperd's purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris).
I am unsure about this one. Some species of Calydorea perhaps?
A red flowering agave (Agave potrerana)?
It is of the genus lupinus for certain, though even among the species there are so many varieties in gardening. It's probably Lupinus polyphyllus, but my knowledge of plants is very European.
Anyway, I might do this again for the Act I region and the mountain pass. Thank you for your attention, dear reader. β€

My friend @mangrove-heelerz and I are considering a DND campaign deviating away from Baldur's Gate 3; hell maybe even set around Bg1 or Bg2. For artfight I cranked down on making my High Elf/Lycanthropic Cleric of Lathander, Figelia! If you want to see my artfight, it's MonkeyBall!
Let's get to know her!
Figelia βFigβ Grimwald is a High Elf Cleric of Lathander with the Acolyte background.
She is the adopted daughter of Hans, an Asmodeus Tiefling, and the biological daughter of Godwin Grimwald.
BACKGROUND
Born as the daughter of an absent woman and her father, Figelia was raised by him and his partner Hans at the Grimwald Tearoom & Inn. She found solace in the Rosymorn Monastery where she took to praying as a small child after her move to Rivington. Eventually, she became a Light Domain Cleric and took to aiding travellers on adventures needing her guidance and healing, or sometimes even travelling solo for reasons she will not disclose, sporadically coming back home to spend time with her fathers and the locals she considers close friends and family and keeping them up to date on her travels.
PERSONALITY
Figelia is kind, humble, a bit feisty when needed, understanding, patient, mature yet witty, and knows how to defend herself as-well as others from injustice or evil forces with her often sunny disposition, so she may come off as a bit preachy, though can be rough around the edges sometimes and can be sometimes jaded, but she often means well.
She is accepting of any race or gender wholeheartedly.
She is also very hospitable and social, having grown up in a bustling Inn. She is almost impossible to anger and is rarely upset or forlorn, somewhat acting as Belorienβs voice of reason or extinguisher to his hot-headed personality and often guides him on his endeavours. She uses her duty and love of helping people to distract from her own inner demons.
HISTORY
Born on the 7th of Uktar as the only child of Opala and Godwin Grimwald, Figelia spent her early years growing up in a humble residence in Waterdeep, where she indulged in socialising, collecting flowers, reading books, playing with animals and baking treats with her parents.
A currently unspecified event let to Opala contracting Afflicted Lycanthropy, which compromised her behaviour towards her husband and child.
Godwin, wishing to remain a family, chose to allow his wife to still reside in the home and vowing to find ways toaccommodate her new condition.
Figelia, who was around 7 years old at the time, decided to make a bouquet for her mother (who had fallen into a depression) one evening to cheer her up.
Unbeknownst to her, Figelia had plucked Belladonnas and Wolfsbanes, mistaking them for Championβs Lavenders instead.
This sent the latter into a fit of animalistic rage and biting her own daughter in the process, passing the affliction onto her indefinitely.
Witnessing this but being unable to intervene until it was too late, Godwin forbade Opala from seeing either of them ever again, packed their bags and moved them to a cozy little corner in Rivington, where he opened the Grimwald Tearoom & Inn, a fine and steady business to support himself and Figelia.
When she was 10 years old, her father met and married Hans, a Tiefling man who worked at the Tearoom since It opened, the trio becoming a new family, her affliction a shared secret between all three of them.
With the help of her fathers, she managed her lycanthropic condition very well and accepted her limitations that came with it, thus making her romantic relationships scarce and fleeting.
She dedicated herself to her work as a Cleric of Lathander, finding meaning and solace in the transcripts of the Morning Lord, finding the prayers within the Rosymorn Monastery a house of comfort after the traumatic breakdown of her former familyβs foundations and her attack as a child.
Now, at the age of 78 (physically 30 years old), Figelia is using her skills as a cleric to travel across Faerun to discover potential alchemic ingredients, or even a merciful priest, to cure her Afflicted Lycanthropy for good.
Aside from this, she's also going to fall in love with the pompous yet charming paladin/bard Lord Belorien! she's decided to help on his adventure to return his lost artefacts; who is owned by @mangrove-heelerz!
