Ya know, I just realized that in a way c!Dream helped c!Techno break out of his execution cage (since c!Dream gave him intel on getting a totem plus provided resources, a distraction and freed Carl) and then gets a favor that he uses on c!Techno breaking him out of his execution cage (mind you a much bigger obsidian one lol). And I don’t know, there’s just a certain parallel there I didn’t see before that is rather satisfying…
