Spice store in a medina, Rissani, Morocco

I’m reading Cosmos and this quote is so apt to how I feel like when I travel. There is not only so much to see in this world, but also a lot to learn and discover about our world:

Hello from the City Gate of Rissani! 🇲🇦

Rissani is a small town on the edge of the Sahara desert with a population of about 25,000 people. It is located in the Errachidia Province in eastern Morocco. The gate has a large opening for cars and a smaller one for pedestrians. It is ornately decorated and features vibrant colors of salmon pink, green and white.

Morocco has such beautiful gates and I felt like absolute royalty riding through. They are truly works of art.
