thinking abt the scene in All Systems Red post-Bharadwaj rescue when Mensah goes to check on Muderbot. even knowing that units are constructs, none of the survey team knew what that actually meant. theyve probably been trying to not think about it this whole time, too. and Murderbot just talked Volescu out of that crater. it asked about his home and his kids. its the first time most of them see it's face and the first time they all hear it's voice (and Mensah had tried not to look at it when she signed the bond agreement). she knows it was heavily damaged and would go to it's cubicle for repairs. idk what she expected the repairs to look like, but she was not expecting it huddled up in a shock blanket. wrapped up like that, it probably looked very much like an augmented human. a tired, hurt human. this is the first time it really sinks in for Mensah that Murderbot is a person

not forgivin people for hating preston garvey. hes like "i want ppl to have their needs met and not get murdered over clean water" and then asks u to help him build a castle head quarters. him letting me know where i can help settlements and build waystations / find fast travel points is helpful. sry u guys hate filling in ur map

Danny getting stuck in a time loop for like a week. he cant figure out what lesson Clockwork wants him to learn. hes tired. he decides to make this loop a rest day. hes laying face down on the sidewalk. someone trips over him and asks what hes doing. Danny answers honestly that he cant figure out how to get out of the time loop and is taking a Me Day. person goes wait ur also in this time loop? turns out it wasnt Danny’s time loop after all. Clockwork just stuck him in it as a prank (Clockwork as an immortal being and nigh omnipotent does not know what a reasonable prank is).

1 died as SecUnits r expected to, protecting it’s clients. 2 was killed by being left behind. 3 couldnt save them and it had to standby while it’s clients were imperiled. Three arrives on a ship to find the crew’s SecUnit was badly damaged protecting them and left behind. theyre planning how to rescue it. even the ship is scared for it. theyre seriously considering bombing what BE believes is so valuable. over equipment that it’s own clients deem disposable. it doesnt understand whats going on, but it doesnt have to standby and let it happen. it can save this SecUnit.

grace is not trying to get stratt to take care of herself. stratt is not helping him take care of himself. they r enabling each other's worst habits. she is using those military jets to get both enough esspresso to give an elephant a heart attack. he is waking her up after her 20 minute power nap as requested after not sleeping for 36 hrs and is not taking one himself (bc he is working until he falls asleep and then sleeping max 5 hrs). they would not eat if it wasnt in their schedule (and they only follow that bc they need the calories to do their work). hes her #2 first and foremost bc hes the only one not suggesting she takes a break
