The recording of 'Part of Your World', sung by Jodi Benson, penned by Howard Ashman and composed by Alan Menken. In the video, Ashman coaches Benson on the way the song should be sung, advising her of how to reach the high notes. Clearly, Ashman was very dedicated in producing top quality songs.

The first time I read those words,my heart shattered on the floor.I was watching 'Beauty and The Beast' and singing along to 'Tale As Old As Time' (the version at the end of the film with Celine Dion) and I was like "Howard Ashman and Alan Menken are the greatest duo in music industry.I bet that if someone else has written/composed the score for 'The Little Mermaid' and 'Beauty and The Beast' (and 'Aladdin',of course),those movies wouldn't be as awesome as they are now."

As I was having this monologue with myself,I read the words that shocked me.I didn't want to believe that Howard wasn't among us anymore.I was hoping that he and Alan would come back with more great songs.If only he would have seen the finished movie and gotten that Oscar that he deserved.

I still don't want to believe that he has slipped away.Howard will ALWAYS be in our heart <3
