June seventeenth, two thousand-sixteen; twelve fifty-one post meridiem. Today is the day the world and a family must put to rest a truly incredible soul. An angel in her own right during her time here on earth. Christina Victoria Grimmie. A young lady who touched more people than she may have realized. The message and example she set for the public eye to witness was one that was and even posthumously remains very inspirational. Through her music, interviews, and even just free time Question and Answer segments as well as random 'for fun' videos, Grimmie truly inspired her viewers and fans in the most positive way possible. In just 22 years, Grimmie became a force to be reckon with. The way she projected such stellar excitement and exhuberance on screen for the world to witness, was truly incomperable. Many things she said and did were things that many people only dreamed of doing. In the short amount of time she had to do it, she truly left her mark on the masses. The quality I admired and appreciated the most about Ms. Grimmie was her positivity and nonwavering faith. Faith in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. That is a quality that seems to be dwindling off these days unfortunately in MANY people, so to see Christina remain true to it and promote it with genuity was a breath of fresh air. Another quality that was loved about Ms. Grimmie was her bond with her fans and family. This is something that isn't as widespread as once before either in lew of wireless device useage, however despite her presence in social media, Christina and her family appreared to have balanced the two worlds very efficiently. After surviving breast cancer on more than one occasion, I know Mrs. Tina Grimmie never would have IMAGINED that she would have to bury her beautiful daughter. My heart weighs heavy as I send my condolences to Mrs. Tina Grimmie, Mr. Albert Grimmie and most especially, Mr. Marcus Grimmie who unfortunately was present when tragedy struck his beloved sister. I also send condolences to the other family members and close friends and associates of Ms. Grimmie as well as ALL of the members of #TeamGrimmie who are struggling for understanding during such terrible time. Though I would want nothing more than to be present during her homegoing celebration, it is with total understanding that the family would rather have a small, private and intimate funeral for their loed one; the lovely Ms. Christina Victoria Grimmie. It is now only a hope and desire, that we as fans have the pleasure of hearing and recieving some posthumous music from the late great Ms. Grimmie. "Side A" was truly an EXCELLENT final project; full of nothing but amazing songs. It left us wondering if she had began recording for what was to be it's follow up, "Side B" as well as the studio album she hinted at releasing this year. Overtime, we shall see. It is with great gratitude that I include in this post that Christina Grimmies team WON the Charity Champions League $250,000 award for the Humane Society of the United States, which was one of her final initiatives launched before her untimely passing. Also, thanks to all of her "frands" and members of #TeamGrimmie, the official GoFundMe page launched for the Grimmie family by Christina's manager, Brian Teefey, has raised $180,806 of their initial $4,000 goal in a span of 6 days. Truly remarkable. Additionally, I would like for everyone reading this blog, to sign a petition to get Nintendo to create a character in the upcoming Legend of Zelda (which was one of Christina's favorite games), in her honor. Let's do our parts in helping keep the legacy of Christina Grimmie alive and growing. Truly incredible people deserve truly incredible support. Let's do this! I will be recording and releasing a track or two in tribute to Grimmie. I am in the beginning stages and planning of the song, but check back to this blog constantly over the next couple weeks and I will keep you posted. Thanks in advance for your support.
