after all this time i still don't understand i don't think i ever will i just can't wrap my mind around it you're gone and it just feels so wrong because it wasn't supposed to end this way it wasn't supposed to end so soon and it isn't fair and i know that life isn't fair and sometimes things happen that don't make any sense but it's more than unfair this isn't right and i don't understand i don't understand why they're saying you're "at home" you're home is here you should be here but you aren't and i just don't understand i don't understand how i'm supposed to move on it feels like i'll always be grieving always mourning i don't understand how i'm supposed to look at a picture of you and not want to burst into tears i don't understand how this is real life and not a stephen king novel because it feels like a nightmare every time i'm reminded that you're really gone or a harold ramis movie because it feels like i'm constantly reliving that horrible moment when i found out you were gone it's been months but i still can't make sense of any of this and i can't stop missing you and i can't stop hoping that i'll wake up and this would have been a god awful prank and that you'll really be here and i can finally stop spilling my tears over you onto my keyboard
