every tongue that rises against ryan ross shall fall
thoughts on panic! at the disco ending
so, here's the thing. panic! finally ending is honestly pretty bittersweet for me. in some ways, I knew that this would happen eventually. it couldn't be "Brendon at the disco" forever. but for it to just happen out of the blue was kind of shocking. it almost doesn't feel real. for me, this was a band I discovered in a really formative time in my journey of finding my music taste, and therefore I have a lot of really fond and special memories obsessing over this music and this band. and this is also the first band I've followed that I have experienced breaking up, so this experience is new to me. in so many ways, though, I am kinda glad it's over. viva las vengeance was really not my favorite. I wish the last album could have been a little better, but maybe that would have made this ending harder. it makes me sad I'll never get to go to a panic! concert. that was something I really had hoped to do someday, as I couldn't go this past fall. ultimately, as I've been thinking about this band that has meant a lot of things to a lot of people, it really does feel like a good place to put this thing to rest. so goodbye, panic! at the disco. thank you.

A memorial to my late tiefling. May she continue on, as chaotic neutral as before.
And
A warning to my DM. Your ass is fucking grass.
