Klug didn't want anyone to know he was a werewolf. The fact that he'd even been cursed in the first place was extremely embarrassing- and the way he acted when cursed only made it worse. So when he realizes it's only a few minutes to moonrise while he's talking to Ringo, he spins a hasty excuse, and runs back to his house. He can't get her out of his mind, though… and when he changes into a wolf and loses all inhibitions, he can't stop himself from calling out for her. And Ringo, ever-curious, goes to search for the source of the howling with her friends…
