When it came to cybertronian lingerie, I didn't want to make cybertronian-sized human lingerie. Blitzwing would look great in that, no question, I merely wanted to drive home that these robots are aliens. They're from Cybertron, so it should be natural that some things or traditions are different over there and not a direct copy of what you would find on Earth.

The first one was a strictly metal approach. Chains and gems that can be magnetized to the plating. Probably what a more "standard" model of lingerie, that's considered attractive for Decepticons, would look like in that universe. The "makeup" was added as a fun addition to further show how special the occasion is.

The second concept focuses on fabrics. Perhaps the contrast of something soft and easy to rip against hard and shiny metal is why this model would probably be considered more attractive to Autobots? Either way, the colors are directly color-picked from Bumblebee and should tie back to a general idea of "I'm yours". The same goes for the flowy nature of the "makeup" and the literal bee head on the crest.

The third one was made as a mix of the prior concepts, with the colors representing all of Blitzwing's faceplates.

After sending them to Bear, we discussed which ones we liked and why. Bringing us to the final result at the bottom right!

Realizing that Blitzwing would switch faceplates during conversation, I drew what "makeup" Random and Hothead would be wearing. Can't have just One (1) faceplate all dolled up now, can we! Not much thought went into it beyond wanting each of them to be unique, so I let what I thought looked good on them be my guide, lol.
