“Yeah,” Terri immediately replied with a smile, before hesitating, frowning, sitting back in her seat. “I mean... I don’t know.”

These are some of my very favorite small rina moments that say a lot!
1. Gina listening to Ricky serenade her with puppy love, the sweetness dripping off that moment her realizing how lucky they both are to have finally found each other in the way they both needed. It’s perfect.
2. Gina’s face as she sees Ricky come in for B&tB auditions. He was unsure and she was the ONLY person concerned and knew what the musical meant to him outside of everything else. And she’s just happy he didn’t give it up, that he showed up. It shows how much she cares about him again outside of everything else she KNOWS where he belongs.
3. Ricky’s face as he comes to the realization that how he feels about Gina has to be verbalized. That he has to tell the girl he’s in love with how he feels when it’s the worst time to do so. It’s the full embodiment of the quote “as it always does the best laid plans go up in smoke when someone important comes along and distracts you.”
4. I loved the Troyella dialogue as subtext for the rina angst in the finale. Ricky and Gina understanding that they finally got to this place, a place they have both wanted to be for a year and now that they’re there it’s being taken away from them AGAIN. And that pain and that anguish and it putting everything they’ve been through into perspective again. And the desperation that they both just do NOT want to have to say goodbye again, especially now. It’s so good!!!!
