Obviously they do rn because Qifrey graduated + has his own atelier but I meant like, when he was younger yk? There's still some similarities between both of these outfits though don't get me wrong

So essentially the green theme is carried through both of their outfits, and even to the girls too, abundantly at that. Tassel is pretty much the same except that there's also the square on rili. And the fact that if sewn together at the front and back, remove the gold hem and given the yellow tie, Riliphin's cloak would be the same as Qifrey-

...after 5 minutes writing this I came up to the realization that it's because BELDARUIT'S designed is also different during canon and the flashbacks of chapter 90

So maybe the real question is why?

I have many MANY thoughts about Beldaruit and the way he interacts with all the children that fall under his care. His apprentices, his grand-apprentices and even just the children around the great hall, no matter who they are or wether they're actually his responsibility or not he is always so lovely to them.

He truly values them, their individuality and their perspectives and gives them a level of respect that i feel you never see given from adults to children and it is most certainly his greatest quality.

I could not think of a better role for him than that of The Wise in Teachings, and with his adoration of magic and loving care for children, I'd go as far to call him the father of witchhood itself.
