date night half the time consists of staying in and watching cheesy movies, the other half in consists of going out to dinner at a semi-nice place. they dress up
it takes a long time for kepi to open up to riku about her past but the night she does the two of em stay up all night n have a feelings jam where they both unpack a lot of shit from their pasts and talk it out (this prolly doesnt happen til theyre mature adults tbh)
riku already knows a trade and so does kepi so i i figure they might not either go to college/university and if that’s the case i feel like riku’d probably propose shortly after they graduate high school bc that’s just How He Is
however, they decide to wait a few yrs til theyre older to actually get married
rencosette:
i get the feeling that both of them r probably influenced by each others worst and best parts - ren becomes better at containing herself, cosette becomes a little more ruthless, etc.
i would not be surprised if ren did a Very Bad Thing and got cosette mixed up in it at some point - it would not be pretty
cosette convinces ren to quit smoking but she keeps the cigarette holder anyway for the Aesthetic
ren and cosette DO genuinely love each other - this catches ren off-guard initially, bc she’s not used to having strong feelings for people
