We can confirm that Ranboos prison visit is likely an hallucintion both based on the trigger warnings in the beginning of the scene and the ending+the way Sam treated Ranboo and the lava taking a different amount of time to come down compared to other prison visits.

Many including myself has come to the conclusion that Ranboo has not met Warden Sam yet because in this stream he acted as normal Sam usually does, kind, understanding and funny. But he still had a fairly good grasp of how the prison worked which means that if both of those previous statements are correct then Ranboo has visited the prison without Sam being there.
