I think the knee jerk reactions from republicans tell you a lot about how they think. They feel that having to remain appropriate is censorship. They hate the idea of having to filter themselves in any way especially when it comes to racial, religious, gender, sexuality, disability, nationality, immigration and/or housing status… they feel that processing their emotions and learning to move through the world with compassion towards others is a social burden and should not exist. Additionally they often think that censorship is equivalent to the oppression of minorities within the country.
I don’t even care if it’s hypocritical to Christianity like most of these people claim to be.
I just think you’re a loser and a failure at the game if you refuse to do the work to be a better person and think your rejection of people’s differences is necessary.
