Rifleman aka Titipounamu (Acanthisitta chloris), male, family Acanthisittidae, order Passeriformes, found across much of New Zealand

The rifleman is in a family of birds called the "New Zealand Wrens", which are not related to True Wrens or to Fairywrens.

This is the smallest bird endemic to New Zealand, growing to only 9 cm (3.5 in) in length, and weight up to only 7 grams.

Insectivorous.
