Milestone
I bought two RifBar vapes yesterday (banana ice and pride punch, specifically). I have some reasons why:
I chose disposables because investing in refillable nicotine and/or weed vapes I'm easily confused by won't make me use them in the long term. I'm dipping my toes in, okay. Eventually I'll buy a sustainable option when I'm more comfortable in my knowledge of vapes.
I'm generally not a fan of mint, and plain tobacco has gotten boring. Those are the only flavors at the gas stations in my town. Every once in a while people come into the gas station I work at and ask what we have, and we always say "If you want more flavors, you'll have to go to an actual smoke shop."
I want a nicotine option that isn't either smoking cigs in my car (which limits where I can do it and it makes me/my car smell for a few days after) or using pouches (the soggy texture is gross and having to keep it in my mouth is annoying). I have always preferred the act of smoking.
Back in July I lost the Juul my buddy gave to me in high school (sidenote: he and I don't talk anymore. We naturally grew apart. It took a long time for me to stop missing him). I lost it after the limited edition red-colored Juul came and went at the gas stations in my town. The current limited edition color is a blue I don't like. (Also, for some reason, the blue has been on the shelves for many more weeks than the red was. Idk if the Juul company had it recalled or what.) It's simply not worth buying a new Juul when it'd be a bland color and have only mint and tobacco flavors.
All in all, I've been in need of a new way to self-medicate. I stopped taking the medications I tried earlier this summer because they weren't helping and idc to try more pills. Nicotine helps to calm me down quickly without making me loopy or tired like the weed I've tired so far does. I finally went into a smoke shop last night after work with the mentality of "it's now or never, just do it and you'll be glad you did." And I am glad! The two disposables will last me a while.
