Martha Rogers : pov Richard honey i have a dinner date with a friend, so go ahead and have dinner without me I don't know how late i will be out so don’t wait up for me.

Richard Castle: pov okay mother, I step outside for a second so I can talk with my publicist on the phone. She says the tabloid won't take the photo down since it's not false information and she has worse news. The guy sold the photo to other news sites with the story about her appearance. At least some of them got taken down. I'm going to have to tell Kate about this. I check online myself and it's bad people are speculating about her health, some even bring up her shooting. I plan on suing him. My publicist has no idea. It's recommended that I get ahead of this and do a tv interview tomorrow. I will talk to Jim about it when he gets back. My next call is to Esposito to see what can be done.

Javier Esposito: pov hey man whats up.

Richard Castle: pov the guy from the book store that was bothering Kate took her picture and sold it online. Since he was bothering her in the store, can I file a complaint against him?

Javier Esposito: pov not much you can do, he didn't physically hurt her. Took her picture and said some mean things. I could try and get him on something else. Hmm let me check his record to see if he has any parking tickets. I will call you back in a few minutes.

Lanie parish: pov Kate is working on the computer in the living room. Castle says he needs to talk to me about something, I know what this is about.

Kate Beckett: pov I really need to get my notebook in the bedroom but Lanie and Castle are talking, probably about me. I notice my wheelchair in the corner of the living room but decide against it because the walk to the bedroom is short. I should be fine if I hold onto the wall.

Lanie parish: pov He tells me everything. I don't think we should tell Kate, her health isn't good .

Kate Beckett: pov tell me what?

Richard Castle: pov Why are you up, you're not supposed to be up without our help, and if you do get up you're supposed to use your wheelchair?

Kate Beckett: pov I need my notebook I was using on the case. Plus it's a short walk to the bedroom, didn't need the wheelchair

Richard Castle: pov you do need the wheelchair, we could have gotten the notebook for you.

Kate Beckett: pov you guys were talking, obviously about me.

Richard Castle: pov, let's get you back into the living room.

Kate Beckett: pov what were you talking about.

Richard Castle: pov it's nothing

Kate Beckett: pov I want to know. If it was nothing you wouldn't be in here talking quietly.

Richard Castle: pov can we just drop this, please.

Kate Beckett: pov no, but if it was you would you want to know. I know you were talking about me because I heard Lanie say I don't think she should know, her health is bad.

Richard Castle: pov let's sit you on the bed first, I don't want you to get stressed or upset. It's not good for you. The guy at the book store who took your picture sold it online to a bunch of tabloids and news sites. My publicist is working to have them taken down and Esposito is looking to see if the guy has a record.

Kate Beckett: pov I can't believe this is happening I knew going outside was a bad idea. I want to see what people are saying about me online right now.

Richard Castle: pov Kate, I don't think that's a good idea. You need to keep your stress down.

Kate Beckett: pov show it to me right now.

Lanie parish: pov Kate is starting to get loud and angry which isn't good for her. Let me check your vitals, you look a little pale. I grab my stethoscope and blood pressure cuff. I listen to her heart and lungs first.

Richard Castle: pov she does look very pale all of a sudden, are you feeling okay Kate.

Kate Beckett: pov no, i feel funny.

Richard Castle: pov what type of funny. Is it your heart?

Lanie parish: pov her heart rate is a little elevated, i’m going to give her some heart meds. She is also breathing heavier than I would like.

Kate Beckett: pov it hurts.

Richard Castle: pov Kate what hurts? I notice she is rubbing her chest.

Kate Beckett: pov my chest.

Richard Castle: pov is anything else bothering you?

Kate Beckett: pov I feel faint, everything is blurry and the room is starting to spin and I'm dizzy

Lanie parish: pov Castle her blood pressure is very high. It could be caused by stress or something else. Let's lay her down on the bed. Can you get the oxygen mask on her and pass me the wires to the monitor so I can put them on while I call for an ambulance?

Kate Beckett: pov no I don't want to go to the hospital.

Richard Castle: pov I'm sorry but you are pregnant and have a heart condition. Lanie says your blood pressure being high isn't good. You are going and that is final, I put the oxygen mask on her. I know Kate is scared and probably doesn't want to go to the hospital so soon after leaving and everything that happened to her.

Kate Beckett: pov Maybe if I close my eyes I will feel better.

Richard Castle: pov hey don't close your eyes or go to sleep you need to stay awake for us.

Jim: pov the sign said the vegetable market is in the parking lot for a mall nearby, if Kate's okay with it she can pee in the mall bathroom. I know it would be a lot more people but it's probably more accessible. If we are going to the mall this is our exit.

Castle: pov are you okay with it because it looks like it's the closest bathroom.

Kate's: pov I might have no choice.

Lanie: pov if we park in the front I can take Kate into the bathroom while you guys go to the men's room if you have to go then we can drive closer to the farmers market afterwards.

Martha : pov sounds good plus it's a good opportunity for us to try and go to the bathroom.

Jim: pov the mall is on the left side so we have to pass it and turn left at the light. Rick the light is green.

Castle: pov I park as close as possible to the front, I exit the car, open the trunk and get out the wheelchair for Kate while Lanie and Jim help her out of the car.

Martha: pov Richard is pushing Kate into the mall towards the bathrooms. Let's hope the woman's room isn't full.

Jim: pov me and Rick head to the men's room while Katie, lanie and Martha head to the ladies room.

Lanie: pov a woman is walking out of the bathroom saying someone is in the handicap stall with a stomach issue and she heard the woman has been in there for a while. Martha I will help Kate while you go to the bathroom then you can help her wash her hands while I go.

Kate: pov Lanie wheels my chair close enough to the stall so I don't have to walk much. Once in the stall she closes the door so I can go to private.

Lanie: pov I push her wheelchair to the corner and stand outside the stall in case she needs help. Wow, the woman in the handicap stall is definitely having a stomach issue. Hey, are you okay, in there? I'm a doctor and just want to make sure you're okay.

Wendy: pov yes i’m okay just ate some food that had dairy and it bothered my stomach. As I walk out of the stall I notice a woman in a wheelchair. Sorry I didn't mean to block the handicap stall.

Lanie: pov it's okay it's only temporary i explain Kate's whole situation to Wendy who looks shocked.

Wendy: pov wow I can't believe all of that happened to her.

Lanie: pov You good in there Kate.

Kate: pov I can hear the other woman in the stall with the stomach issue. After peeing I wipe yes I'm good, almost done. I then pull my pants up. As I open the stall door lanie is standing there with my wheelchair. I can hear Martha washing her hands.

Lanie: pov let's get you back into your wheelchair Hey Martha can you help Kate wash her hands while I go to the bathroom. In the stall I quickly pee and wipe before pulling my pants up. By the sink I wash my hands and dry them.

Castle: pov as I step out of the bathroom my phone is ringing its my publicist calling it must be important.

Jim: pov Rick looks very upset on the phone. I can hear him say this is unexceptable, why would he do that? Can you get them taken down? Once he hangs up I ask Rick what is wrong.

Castle: pov that jerk from the book store who took Kate's picture sold it to a tabloid for a lot of money, which isn't right. The caption said, from Nikki heat muse to near death. Click here to see her shocking appearance. My publicist said they would handle it. I 100 percent want an apology from both parties and if they won't I'm willing to sue. She also wants me to make a statement saying his claims are false. I also need to set up some TV appearances. I've been holding off since Kate was injured.

Kate: pov lanie is pushing my wheelchair to the car, she then helps me in while Castle puts the wheelchair in the trunk of the car. The farmers market is at the end of the parking lot.

Lanie: pov you don't have to get out of the car if you don't want to.

Castle: pov me and Lanie decided to get out of the car and shop for the vegetables. I see a cute handmade bracelet at the farmers market that I think Kate would like. I grab one out for mother, Alexis and Kate.

Lanie: pov I also grabbed a bracelet for myself since they are so cute. Castle told me about the photos being leaked, I'm not too happy about it. Both bags are full of tomatoes, avocado, broccoli, zucchini, carrots, potatoes, corn, cucumbers, lettuce, strawberries, grapes, apples, oranges, blueberries and raspberries.

Castle: pov after paying I carry the bags to the car.

Martha: pov Katherine says she wishes she could eat the fruits and vegetables. She's tired of the nausea and tube feeding.

Kate: pov I just want to be normal.

Lanie: pov we can talk with your Dr's and see if they might know when your nausea will disappear. The car ride to the apartment is short, Martha and Jim unload the bags of fruit and vegetables while me and Castle get Kate inside and on the sofa.

Castle: pov Kate is there anything you would like to do before dinner?

Kate: pov yes, can you get me my laptop so I can look into Jordan's sister who went missing.

Castle: pov sure. Let me also get you a cozy blanket.

Castle: pov hey Jim, Mother what do we want for breakfast, I could make breakfast wraps with eggs and bacon in them.

Jim: pov sounds good, ask Lanie if it's okay first.

Castle: pov Lanie says it sounds good, Jim is moving Kate's books from the table and putting them in her room. I grab a bowl to crack the eggs in just in case there are shells, I then grab a frying pan and pour the eggs in a little bit at a time until I have 4 omelets on the plates. While the bacon is cooking in the pan I warm up the tortillas, I then assemble everything into the wraps. Mother is pouring orange juice into our cups.

Lanie: pov once Castle is done eating I switch places with him so I can eat and he can watch Kate and keep an eye on her feeding tube to make sure it doesn't get clogged.

Jim: pov I showered early this morning, which was nice.

Perlmutter: pov Sargent Esposito it's me perlmutter I just wanted to let you know I see no signs of trauma on the bones, it does look like some animals may have gotten to the body at some point because the bones have scrape marks on them like an animal was picking the meat of the bones. Sorry I don't have much to go on so far like a cause of death. I can check his skull and see if something happened to his brain that caused his death.

Esposito: pov thanks for the update talk to you later.

Ryan: pov who was it?

Esposito: pov perlmutter, he says he doesn't have a cause of death yet, the bones didn't show any signs of trauma.

Ryan: pov this case just got so much harder. As me and Esposito get out of our car In front of Logan Reynolds apartment we notice a guy walking his dog. Hey, let's talk to the guy walking his dog. He might know something.

Esposito: pov excuse me sir, i’m Sargent Esposito with the NYPD homicide unit. Is it okay if we ask you some questions about a neighbor we found a body in the woods that has been I'D as a Logan Reynolds he lived in this area by any chance did you see him around the time of his death.

Ben sorta: pov actually the last time I saw him he was in hiking gear, I never saw him again after that I didn't think anything of it though. The local police opened a missing persons case but found nothing. They thought something bad happened but had no proof. His apartment should be as it was before he left. You also might want to contact the local police department. They might be a big help since they interviewed people after he went missing.

Esposito: pov Thanks you have been a big help, me and Ryan are going to search his house from top to bottom to see if anything is of help. I use the key that was found in Logan's pocket and it doesn't work are you kidding me. I pick up my phone and call the local police department and explain the situation to them. They are sending over the lead officer on the case to help us which is nice. Do you want to wait in the car for him or talk to some more neighbors?

Ryan: pov talk to some more neighbors.

Cassidy: pov while Liv is relaxing in her bed I'm getting some stuff done around the apartment.

Fin: pov Muncy's brother texted me letting me know she was released from the hospital this morning which is good news.

Castle: pov Kate is done with her morning feed, after what happened yesterday I doubt Kate wants to go out again. The park might be a nice idea to get her some sunlight, she really did enjoy it yesterday, maybe we can feed the wildlife. I ask Lanie what she thinks, she says it's a great idea.

Lanie: pov I ask Kate what she wants to do today besides help the boys out she says nothing, oh because Castle wanted to know if you wanted to go to the park, get some fresh air, sunlight and feed the wildlife.

Kate: pov feeding the wildlife sounds fun, Castle says there is a store nearby where we could get some animal food. Lanie unplugs me from the monitors while Castle gets my clothes so they can help me get dressed in comfortable clothes. I pick black leggings and a flatline shirt just because it's comfortable.

Esposito: pov the other neighbors weren't much help. The lead officer on Logan Reynolds disappearance just showed up. After explaining everything to him and what we are looking for Sargent Lloyd Frank opens the door to the apartment for us so we can look around. Since Logan was missing for so long the locks were changed by the police investigating his disappearance, it's not a big place so we each take an area to search.

Jim: pov Castle fills us in on his plans to take Katie to the park again to sit and feed the wildlife. That sounds so peaceful. I have nothing planned for today which is great because I can go with them to the park.

Castle: pov Lanie is helping Kate who is sitting on the sofa pack a bag for the park. While they do that I pack a cooler with some drinks, snacks and some sandwiches which mother offers to help me make. I can buy some ice on the way to the park.

kate: pov it's not just that.

Castle: pov Kate is pointing to her face. Oh it's also the feeding tube she doesn't like or want people to see, since I'm famous. You're recovering, it's okay, I talked to my manager to make sure no one takes pictures of you like this. So what do you say, want to head out, Esposito and Ryan still haven't gotten into the phone.

Kate: pov I guess we could head out for a little bit. You do make the town sound nice. 

Lanie: pov Jim and Martha both just arrived at the apartment I told them about our idea and what is for dinner, Castle carries Kate to living room so she can get her dinner time fed, I flush her tube with water and some extra just to make sure she gets extra fluids I then start her feed. 

Jim: pov hey Lanie I got the plain gum you said Kate can have.

Lanie: pov thanks Jim, hey Kate do you want a piece of unflavored gum to chew on. All of your Doctors said it was fine. 

Kate: pov Sure that sounds nice. I'm relaxing on the sofa while dad and Martha tell me about their day while everyone eats, it smells good. I'm usually in a different room when they eat in case I get nausea but we are trying something new by having me in the room to include me in their conversations so I don't get depressed. 

Castle: pov me and mother are doing the dishes quickly so we can leave, I have no idea if it will be colder out, my main priority is keeping Kate comfortable. Hey Lanie, can you grab a blanket in case it's chilly out? 

Lanie: pov sure, I got everything packed after Kate's been fed, I flushed her tube and got her ready to head out. I quickly grab the blanket for Kate just in case. 

Jim: pov I get in the car and help Castle get Kate settled,  Lanie sits next to her. Castle puts her wheelchair in the trunk while Martha gets in the passenger set. Castle then hops in the front seat and drives us into town. The ride is short.

Elliot: pov I thank Cassidy for dinner which was amazing, it looks like it's time for me to go. I ask Liv if we could hang out sometime to catch up.

Liv: pov that would be nice, you also need to manage your anger better. You don't want to constantly be walking around with an injured arm. Drive safe Elliot.

Cassidy: pov we good for the night you want to relax and watch a movie.

Liv: pov sure that sounds nice.

Esposito: pov hey Ryan did tori get anything off the phone yet.

Ryan: pov no, she's still trying to get it to work. The elements did a number on it. How about Dave's BBQ for dinner they deliver or I could pick it up. Whatever you want.

Esposito : pov no that actually sounds good.

Ryan: pov great I will order the food, what do you want.  I'm ordering the pulled pork sandwich.

Esposito: pov the shredded beef sounds amazing. Should we ask perlmutter if he wants anything?

Ryan: pov Maybe, it's your idea so go ask him.

Esposito: pov fine whatever. Hey perlmutter I'm calling because I wanted to know if you would like anything to eat for dinner. Me and Ryan are getting Dave's BBQ and didn't want to exclude you. By the way did you get anything from the body?

Perlmutter: pov the food sounds good, Ryan reads everything off the menu which makes it easy for me to pick what I want. About the body, Nothing so far and stop rushing me. 

Lanie: pov once in town castle finds a parking spot and gets Kate's wheelchair out to help her into it. I grab her bag and blanket just in case it does seem like nice weather outside. So Kate, what do we want to do first, walk around or hit the book store? It's your choice. 

Kate: pov walking around sounds nice or in my case being pushed around. It's not too crowded tonight. The town is lit up nicely. Castle I feel like people are staring at me.

Castle: pov I doubt that they are probably staring at me. Let's keep moving and enjoy the fresh air. After a few minutes we are in front of the book store, do you want to go in? Kate. It's okay if you don't want to.

Kate: pov no its okay, I could get a few books while we are in here. I 100 percent know I'm going to be recognized in the book store and I'm not sure if I'm ready for that. 

Castle: pov I can see the nervous/panicked look on Kate's face. Hey Kate it's okay if it becomes too overwhelming we can just leave it is not an issue.  

Kate: pov I'm Fine, I will let you know if it's too much for me. Dad holds the door open while Castle pushes my wheelchair in. I really wish I didn't need it but with everything going on I have to use it for a bit. 

Castle: pov I immediately realize this is a big mistake, an author walking into a bookstore spells disaster. An employee is headed our way, maybe to see if we need help or because she recognized me. 

Madelyn: pov oh my is that Richard Castle, it definitely looks like him. I decided to head over and see if he needs help. Hi I'm Madelyn, do you need help finding something? 

Castle: pov not really just looking around. 

Madelyn: pov the woman with him looks like his wife captain Beckett I remember hearing something about her being in an accident. I know he tries to keep their private life private. By the way I heard your wife was in a car accident, just want to let you guys know I hope she feels better soon.

Esposito: pov yes I will have the bison burger with fries and secret sauce with a soda.

Lanie: pov I will have the ribs with cornbread and sweet tea. Did you bring the cold case files with you? 

Esposito: pov yes I did, they are in the trunk of my car.

Lanie: pov good this will give Kate something to do while she is on medical leave since I don't know how long it will be till she can go back to work. I have something special I want to do for Esposito since he's been working so hard and we don't get to spend much time together, Castle is helping me plan it. I'm still out of work because I'm helping take care of Kate, perlmutter has been nice and taking my shifts.

Castle: pov after her lunch time feed Kate fell asleep on the sofa with her head resting on her dad watching temptation lane. While I get some writing done, Lanie should be back soon from her lunch with Esposito. Lanie has no idea I have something special planned for her and Esposito. She thinks I'm helping her plan something special for Esposito, she has no idea. I booked them a room in a nice cozy hotel in between the apartment and the precinct. It includes a massage and a  nice dinner reservation.

Jim: pov Katie fell asleep on me, hey Castle do you think we should try to move her into the bedroom so she can sleep more comfortably, plus I have to pee. 

Castle: pov if you can grab her monitors/wires I can pick her up and carry her to bed. I carefully pick Kate up while Jim grabs her monitors  and heads to the bedroom and lays her on the bed.  I make sure her monitors are in the right place and put her special mask on her face. Once she is settled we both head into the living just as Lanie is walking through the front door. 

 Lanie: pov hey I'm back, you got a package. How was Kate while I was gone? 

Castle: pov kate was great, she is sleeping now. I’m thinking of making tacos for dinner. Is that okay with you? 

 Lanie: pov yep it's fine is Martha joining us for dinner tonight. 

Castle: pov she should be back for dinner  Alexis and Dave are staying in the city tonight. 

Lanie: pov by the way the cold case files Esposito gave me for Kate are in the trunk if you want to help me get them. This should keep her busy for a bit and not so bored, plus it will make her feel like she is helping out. 

Castle: pov I head outside and help Lanie carry the boxes inside, I don't know where to put them. You know what, let's stack them in the living room near the TV. 

Lanie: pov we should probably get a bag packed for Kate for tomorrow since she has the dentist appointment.  I quietly walk into Kate's room to check on her and grab some stuff for the bag. 

Castle: pov while Lanie is in the other room I open the package I ordered, it's stuff for my old wheelchair which is now Kate's. Did you grab a bag to bring with us? I don't want it to be too big and bulky. 

Lanie: pov this one should work, I grabbed a bag of her fluids, a bag of her formula and what she needs for her feeding tube. Can you grab a face mask for when we are in the waiting room? 

Castle: pov let's put the stuff I ordered on the wheelchair. I know she won't like it but I think it's necessary and Lanie agreed when I ordered them yesterday. Let's put 2 water bottles in the bag for us and a snack. 

Lanie: pov I can chop the lettuce and tomatoes while you make the tacos and meat. It should only take a few minutes, plus Jim is in the room reading a file for his upcoming legal case while Kate is sleeping. Looks like Martha is back from her audition/lunch date. How did the audition go? 

Martha: pov I think I did well, it will be a few days before I find out if I got the part. Is my guess correct that we are having tacos for dinner. 

Lanie: pov yep it was Castle's idea. Dinner should be ready in a few minutes. Kate is still sleeping so we decided to eat then do her dinner time feed. 

Jim: pov 5 tacos were definitely too many, I hope i have room for dessert which is going to be fruit. Lanie just went to check on Katie while Castle does the dishes. 

Lanie: pov I grab everything to start her tube feeding, before i start i should wake Kate up so she can go to the bathroom, since she has been asleep for a bit. I carefully wake her up without scaring her. Once she is up I take off her special mask. Hey Castle, can you help me get Kate to the bathroom? 

Castle: pov sure.

Kate: pov I can feel myself being woken up. As soon as I open my eyes I notice Lanie standing near me. Castle is now in the room to help me to the bathroom, Lanie unplugs me from the monitors for a few minutes so I can go to the bathroom. I still feel very tired. 

Castle: pov after helping her to the bathroom I ask if she wants to stay in the room or go into the living room. Kate says living room for a bit. While I help her to the living room Lanie grabs the monitors and supplies.
