- I do not know enough Spanish to read recipes
- took an hour of stirring (ow my feet)
- could use more sugar

I think maybe basmati rice isn't a good rice for this one, in spite of being a long grain white rice. It basically stopped absorbing the milk once it was off the stove, this is after three days of keeping it in the fridge. The images I've seen of rice pudding put it a lot closer to congee in appearance and this is definitely rice in vanilla milk. It's good, but not great.
Cherry compote slaps, easy to make, pretty quick and tastes delicious.
