#rewrite idea

After about a year, I’ve managed to come up with some of my own ideas on how to fix this trainwreck of a film. The story is still a work in progress, but I at least have some key elements worked out.

• First of all, I unfortunately have to cut Bo Peep from the story. What I ended up developing doesn’t really require her, and plus, I kinda think it’s for the best to leave her whereabouts unknown.

• There are only three characters I am keeping from the actual movie for this one: Forky, Duke and Gabby. The big difference is that I’ve rewritten each one of them to be more fleshed out and not two out of the three to be treated like jokes, which I will explain.

TBH my main problem with Alastor is that the show and Alastor keep TELLING us how mysterious, cool and powerful he is instead of actually showing us, so it makes him extremely grating to watch when he acts like he's the coolest thing in the room. Pilot Alastor was so much fun BECAUSE he still acted like the jaunty Radio man he was in his prime DESPITE what he's achieved in Hell, he was so casual and I loved that.

Also why the f*ck did they make the one to get get dumped and the one we're supposed to feel sorry for...A Villain? Like, wouldn't make more sense if the show made us feel bad for Alastor and explore how Aphobia and the obsession with relationships our world has can tear friendships apart, or have the Villain be the one to dump one of the main cast and admit to them they were only using them? Like, I hold the opinion that the Hellaverse has a constant problem of not letting the Main Cast be bad people on more than a surface level, but why are you choosing to Woobify the man who literally forced an Asexual man to watch him and his partner bone a scene before instead of one of the Main Cast who we are supposed to sympathise with?

I wish they put all this ‘tries to be cooler than he actually is’ energy they put into Alastor into Sir Pentious, just with a more ‘Saturday Morning Cartoon Villain’ spin to it. Like, in the sense that he acts like everyone should know him and how he’s going to be a powerful threat when he’s a powerful Overlord/he is a powerful threat now, but since he’s the comedic character it can instead be played for comedy where everyone is constantly forgetting about him and doesn’t take him seriously, and he constantly gets the sh*t kicked out of him because he’s an ordinary Sinner going up against literal OVERLORDS. Like, imagine him acting like him and Vox have this massive rivalry, but Vox keeps on forgetting about him and just sees him as, ‘the guy I dumped years ago’, since it could be interesting to have it be Vox who dumps Pentious instead, Pentious could even still have lingering unrequited feelings for Vox which could be interesting, especially with Vox’s relationship with Val (or just use it as an excuse to have an ‘On My Own’ parody IDK). Also him losing to Shok.Wav would also make more sense because again, literal Sinner against Overlord’s shark. It could also make for some interesting deconstruction on why he acts like this (it could be a mask maybe?), and could have a ton of routes for a character arc depending if you want to redeem him or not. Plus if we transfer the ‘Has his owned by Rosie’ and actually make her an antagonist it could be a more equal parallel to Angel Dust than Husk is and we could do SirDust instead (I know they’re doing to address HuskerDust’s differences in Season 3 but come on, why did you wait that long?), also her more jaunty personality (which I would keep when she’s being evil cause that’s always fun) would be a very fun contrast to Valentino’s (cause I make him more serious than he is in the show), plus it could make for some scary horror sequences (like, imagine her forcing him to eat Sinner meat ooooooh).

In terms of the other characters, If we keep Alastor we could just make him like he was in the Pilot, not in a contract with anyone and maybe could have no tragic backstory to make him extra fun, which could contrast Sir Pentious if we give him an extremely tragic backstory. Alastor could either be more of a character who aids in other’s arcs, or he could have an arc of becoming more human/open with everybody, since he could cling onto his ‘Jaunty Radioman persona’ and maybe is trying to get rid of his humanity/doesn’t see himself as human. Or maybe we could get rid of Alastor entirely and just give the Powerful Overlord Investor role to Niffty instead, who may put up the facade of a boy-crazy ditz to hide how cruel and clever she actually is, maybe to get her opponents and enemies (and audience) to underestimate her power. It could lend to some fun gags where she solves something for the gang or in the background. Not to mention it could be a fun way to make a Tumblr SexyWoman, since there’s a severe lack of those, and we could make Husk AroAce since SirDust would be a thing instead. Plus you could use this opportunity to add Cherri Bomb to the Main Cast and have the Cast consist of Seven Main Characters (since I wouldn’t add Baxter to the cast or redeem Pentious so early), which could be a fun nod to the Seven Deadly Sins with each character representing a Sin each.

eh i think most fans of the series have come to expect these topics, especially since its horror AHAHAHA what the hell am i doing

her background is somewhat the same, raised in an orphanage, childhood best friends with bill. her childhood years were strife, full of conflict. it reflects a lot in her work.

because of a lack of control in her childhood, she resorts to exerting control over her creative endeavors. she's obsessive over every detail in her work and wants everything to be up to her vision. she gets very upset if even a single detail is off.

her art method is a sort of organized chaos where to the ordinary person her methods look cluttered and unorthodox, but in mona's head there's an order to it only she can understand.

she was always fond of drawing. she would draw what she saw. bill was her muse and assistant who would pose for her and bring her materials whenever.

she had a particular obsession with anatomy when it came to her art. she would sometimes kill and dissect small animals just to understand how muscles overlapped and were organs would go. sometimes even doing taxidermy to get proper references.

after growing out of the orphanage, mona would attempt to get her life together like bill did. she started off making a living drawing people's portraits on the side of the street. eventually she was able to work her way into a viable art career after meeting other artists.

for a long time she has kept her violence repressed up until the events of the tapes/when she runs off. she was good at keeping her more unsavory parts of her personality repressed. in her art career she had the image of an introspective, down to earth sort of person, a far cry from the mona who would go on to commit those murders.

her obsessive controlling nature when it comes to art does sometimes lead to fights with fellow artists, especially when it comes to collaborations.

in terms of violence, she is just as unhinged as the original mona. most of her murder methods are almost the same. the only difference here is how particular she is with her results, especially when propping the bodies up for display.

she only ever brings attention to murders/art works she is proud of. whenever a body in her "art works" does not behave how she would want it to, she would keep it hidden away as a sort of "draft" or reuse some parts for other murder scenes/art works.

this happened to carla, her face bruised and swelled too much before mona could finish her "art" and carla was left abandoned in a shack.

I have a Hazbin Hotel Fan Rewrite idea that would definitely fuck up Season 3 but I still wanna share to have your opinions on it.

So we know that Lilith will play a big part in Season 3 being Charlie's mom and have been absent for 8 years.

But l've been thinking, since Lilith isn't Adam's first wife in all versions of the Bible and is sometimes a different character, and Lucifer technically made the Ars Goetia and possibly the other hellborns with the help of the other sins: What if Lucifer created Charlie instead?

Think about it. If Lucifer can create beings out of thin air, surely it would be possible to make an heir/heiress to the throne in case if he wanted to retire or have them continue whatever he started.

And now you're probably wondering, what would happen to Lilith then? I think she can still be an important character in the show, l'd just have to see what she would do and what her role would be.

That got me this Idea:

What if Will got possessed in season three, instead of season 2.

His episodes never stopped, Will doesn't know why he is lying to his friends. But it safer for them that way. At least, he thinks so.

Joyce was with him at the Lab again, and when they came home Will was weird and Nancy (who slept over) asked Jonathan where they where and whats wrong with Will, because he seems so exhausted.

Jonathan tells her, that his episodes didn't really stopped and that Joyce still takes him to the Lab but what they're doing there, he and Joyce don't know. (They do any kind of experiments with him, questioning, exercises etc.).

The next day Will meets up with his friends at the mall but he feels weird the whole time, as if something is watching him. At Scoops Ahoy he tells them that he is going home and that he doesn't feel so good (he is pale as well, as if he is going to throw up any time). His friends just tell him to get well soon, and bit their goodbye's. Once outside he is there again.

The Upside-down.

El and Max (who went to the mall alone) find Will in his "episode" (maybe he hid somewhere, or it looked like he was looking for someone), and take his walkie-talkie to call for help (idk who answers, is it the boys, Joyce, Jonathan, or maybe Max runs to Steve), and afterwards, at home he tells Joyce about his "now-memories". Joyce takes him immediately to the Lab.

Edit 1:

Maybe after him getting possessed (or a spy), Billy starts to look out for Will. (Billy is being "mind-controlled", and not acting like he does in the show. Rather he is hearing the whole time that he needs to look out for Will, otherwise something bad is going to happen). For example picking him up and going to the mall, spending time together etc. (Like Steve does with Dustin). Will's friends of course noticing it, (Max is a bit jealous, because Billy can be a good brother but for someone else as if she is not good enough) and confront Will about it. The spy however goes in defense and clocks them. ("Oh, only now, when i made other friends you suddenly care about me? How nice of you. You know what leave me alone, Michael.").

He never calls him Michael. Something is wrong.

Then it goes like season 2. Mike goes to the Byer's, Will draws those tunnels etc.

Edit 2:

When Will gets exorcist, the whole Gang (Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Steve, Jonathan, Jim, Joyce, Nancy, Max and El) are there (or not, idk haven't decided yet), and Will is begging at first that someone should help him, with tear etc., however afterwards he is spitting insult after insult.

("Mommy, please. Help me and turn it off. It's so hot. Mommy please. Big brother please. Please! Someone, turn it of". Jonathan holding Nancy's hand while fighting tears, Jim holds Joyce so she doesn't help him. After that he starts insulting them "You stupid cunt, cannot even help your own son. Fuck all of you", yara yara yara.)

(He calls Joyce "Mommy" instead of "Mom" because for one he wants to be seen as someone mor sensible and in pain, and he calls Jonathan "Big Brother" because the spy doesn't remember his name)

I know it's not really flushed out, but I thought it could be a cool idea to combine those two seasons.

Season 2 was for me peak, ngl. The concept of will being possessed and a spy, while everyone is so worried.
