“How are you feeling, Moonshine. You must be exhausted...”

“Me?! You are the one still bleeding! I’m more exhausted from your reckless behaviour.” she sighed and looked at the bandages. 

“This will heal in just two days, don’t worry.”

“Well whoever is feeling worse, we should still bring you somewhere safer.” Phasma told them, as much relieved as the others that they had Y/N back, but their work wasn’t done yet. The Circus had to be rebuilt as soon as possible.

“Why somewhere safer? What happened?” Y/N asked confused until they could hear something crash outside.

“What did you do?!” she immediately asked Kylo who scratched his head ashamed.

“Might have destroyed the camp...” he mumbled very quietly.

Taking a deep breath, she then shook her head with a little smile.

“My chaotic wolf...” brushing over his cheek, he leaned back into her warm touch before she kissed him.

Everyone helped them to pack the most essentials before bringing them into the meadow where everyone else from the circus was waiting. Kylo carrying Y/N in his arms while he nuzzled his face against her neck.

“Is everyone alright?” Sadie called to them and helped to bring Kylo and Y/N towards a small area where they treated a few light wounded. 

“How is this possibly… ” she whispered quietly while checking Y/N before taking her in her arms.

“Kylo turned me.” she explained while hugging the older woman back.

“I’m just glad you are alright my sweetheart! You must be starving now after your transformation. And you guys too!” she pointed at Kylo and Rey who where just laying on the ground, groaning with exhaustion.

Sadie shuffled away and for now Y/N laid beside her mate cuddling with him up in a soft blanket before the kitchen woman returned and gave them a few bags of various snacks she had horted for the day after the Full Moon.

Munching on their snacks, Kylo and her were just sitting next to each other in silence while he leaned his head against hers, the little creatures on her lap calmly sleeping while the sun was slowly rising.

For the time being, since they didn’t know when they could return to the circus grounds and start rebuilding, the werewolf let Poe get Kylos car over to the safe space so that Y/N would at least be sheltered. 

“You don’t have to pamper me anymore.” she chuckled while he let her down in the mountain of pillows and blankets on the backseat.

“You can’t blame me after tonight...” he sighed while Trico and Morgana flew by his head to cuddle up against Y/N, Mellow following shortly after to hide in the shadows of her hair.

“Y/N!! I’m so glad you are okay!” she suddenly heard a hissing voice scream until Kou slithered up Kylo and made his way towards her. The little snake was crying his little heart out while she held him close.

“I’m sorry for worrying you so much.” kissing his little snout, Kou sniffled slightly while curling up around her neck.

Soon Phasma cuddled up with them in the back seat while Finn and Poe took the front seat to sleep, Rey had made herself a little hiding space in the back of the open trunk.

Even though their home was destroyed, all of them were just glad that everyone was alright and survived this horrible night.

While everyone was exhausted and snoring beside her, Y/N was laying on Kylos chest with her eyes wide open. 

Gently lifting herself off Kylos body, she watched his sleeping face for awhile while she gently brushed with her fingers over his wounds.

“I love you, you stubborn wolf...” she whispered against his lips before she quietly left the car and wrapped a blanket around her shoulders, her foster children quickly following her.

“Come here...Darling.” picking Trico up from the ground she loosened the Talisman around his neck and let him run for awhile while he started to grow to his original size.

“That's better right?” she whispered, not to wake everyone else and brushed over Tricos snout when he came closer, quietly purring.

“How about you my fiery sweetheart? Want to fly a round?” petting the little dragon that was curled around her leg he stayed where he was not moving a bit.

“I’m not going anywhere, I will be right here waiting for you.” she reassured her scaled child who slowly made his way to her arms so that she could hold him up before it flew up into the sky.

Watching him for a while soaring through the sky, Trico soon joined him, Mellow who disliked sunlight, quickly rushed back into the car to Kylo to vanish into his raven black hair. 

Finally she was able to take a deep breath again, without pain, enjoying the chilly air on her skin and without the worry that her body would just gave out under her, she wandered around a bit, until she noticed the director walking towards them from the rubble of the circus.

Quickly making her way back to the car she gently shook Kylo who instantly wanted to sit up only to hit his head right at the roof of the car, waking everyone else up immediately.

“What is it?! Are you okay?!” he asked frantic while climbing out of the car. Pulling her in his arms, he saw why she had woken him up.

Instinctively, Kylo held her even closer when he saw that his Father was still with the Director.

Y/N quickly held out her arm to catch her dragon who roared at the unfamiliar intruder, same with Trico who stood behind them, glaring at the older werewolf.

“As you can see, Y/N is a Fairy and no ordinary human. Besides now she is even one of your own kind and she and Kylo are standing under my protection. If you have something against that, your pack has to interfere with the Ministry itself, who will be here any moment.” the Director still explained to Han, while a car was coming closer. 

“Oh for fucks sake...” Kylo mumbled and immediately shuffled behind Y/N as if he wanted to hide from someone, when a few people left the car and approached them.

“Now don’t be shy and greet your Mother!” an older, beautiful woman spoke up with outstretched arms and Kylo slowly approached her before she pulled him in a hug and pressed a kiss against his cheek.

“Mum...” he mumbled embarrassed while rubbing over his cheek with his sleeve. Y/N started to chuckle when she saw this shy side of him and walked over to greet his Mother as well.

“It’s nice to meet you. I’m Y/N.”

“She is my mate.” Kylo explained to his Mother with slightly red cheeks but a very proud smile.

“You can call me Leia, my Dear, since you are now part of our family.” she smiled and patted her cheek until she shot a glare at the silver wolf. 

“Han.” she only greeted him shortly before she continued to ignore him completely and turned her attention to the Director.

“How bad is the damage?” the three of them and the other people that came with Leia made their way back to the destroyed Circus.

In just a day the Circus got rebuild and everything that was destroyed would be replaced by the ministry who would let the werewolf pack pay for the costs.

“It was really nice meeting your Mother...” Y/N mumbled, with her mouth full of bloody steak and Kylo just watched her with adoration.

“Sure, Moonshine.” he grinned, brushing the mayo from her mouth after she stuffed her face with fries.

“Will I always be this hungry?” she asked and pushed her third plate away while patting her full stomach.

“Around full moon, yeah. Since you just transformed a few hours ago it’s basically the same.” he explained, taking his own last bite of steak.

“Maybe we should get you changed and cleaned up now.” he suggested when he noticed the still bloodstained clothing she was wearing.

“That counts for you too. We can take a nice bath together.” with a wide grin, she cuddled up against his side and Kylo quickly showered her face in kisses which made her even more giggle.

“Circus destroyed, got someone back from the dead and the only thing they think of doing is snogging, again.” Poe called over teasingly and Kylo just showed him the finger with a grin.

“And how are the new tents treating, y’all?” Kylo asked while they set down on the table with them.

“To be totally honest we should thank you for destroying most of this place.” Phasma laughed with a few snakes around her arms. 

“The new tents they provided have freaking extention charms on them. Yours is almost finished so just wait till you get inside.” Finn grinned, visible happy about this change.

“True that, every little one of my children has there own little bed now.” the blonde woman shook her head in disbelief.

“See my Darling. Everyone is happy with the chaos you have made. So don’t feel guilty about it anymore.” squishing his cheeks together with one hand, Y/N pulled his head down to kiss his pouty lips before she gathered the empty plates to bring them to Sadie and help her with washing the dishes.

“And how is she feeling?” Poe asked while pouring Milk on his cornflakes.

“Good! Pretty good, actually. She didn’t have to transform into a wolf yet so she has more energy than me. I’m just ready to take another nap to be honest.” he sighed while resting his head onto his hand until his love came jumping back to him.

“I have the best idea for our new tent! What would you think of a big hammock for us!” jumping next to him on the bench, his eyes knowingly wandered up to her head before he started to chuckle like the others around them.

“What? What is it? Is it such a bad idea?” she asked with disappointment. 

“No it’s a wonderful idea it’s just ...” taking her hand he lead them up to the fluffy ears that were poking through her hair.

“Oh! I got wolf ears?!” immediately she started petting them herself which made her even cuter than she already was.

“Well you are basically a cup right now who has to get used to its powers. It will probably happen a few more times when you get this excited, until you can control your wolfself.” he reassured her before nuzzling his nose against hers which made her smile.

“This will be so exciting...” chuckling to herself, she cuddled back up against his chest, wondering what the next few days would bring them.

“I got us pizza and beer!” tired and exhausted Kylo pushed away the tarp from their tent, just to find his clothes scattered around on the floor.

“Moonshine?” he asked confused but soon saw what the problem was.

Y/N was sitting inside their bed, his clothes chaotically placed in a somewhat circle around her.

“I don’t know! I just started and now I can’t stop. And just so you know I can accept zero criticism right now!” without even looking at him she pointed her finger at Kylo.

“Oh Moonshine...” he smiled and shook his head lightly.

“You're trying to build a nest.” he explained and carefully sat down next to her construction. 

“A nest? For what? I’m not a goddamn bird!” she huffed while crossing her arms in front of her chest.

“No you silly, you’re building a nest for our cups. That means you’re going into heat soon.” he growled seductively with a wide grin while kissind her temple.

“Cups? Heat? Already? But I just woke up a few days ago...” 

“Your body and instincts know best… just try to listen to them and I hate to say it but … if you want to know better you could ask Rey about the whole female view about it.” watching her for a moment, Kylo gently brushed over her arm. “How about we eat first and after that I help you...” pressing another kiss against her temple, she suddenly held onto him.

“We could have cups?” she asked again, her voice so hopeful, and he nodded before carefully leaning his forehead against hers. “Do you want to? Because if we let it happen, we will definitely have some.” laying his arms around her, she soon cuddled up against his chest.

“I don’t want to waste anymore of our time together … The last time we thought we had all the time in the world it was suddenly stolen from us… wait, some? How many would we have?” she asked suddenly surprised and looked back up at him.

“Werewolfs rarely have just one child in one pregnancy when it happens during their rut.” he explained.

“Lets eat before the food gets cold and I explain everything to you.” brushing over her head, she nodded while making space in her chaotic first build nest so that he could join her.

Making themselves comfortable while they munched on their pizza, Kylo explained to her what it would change for them if they really decided to give into their instincts and would have children.

“I mean we could always still wait, there is no ru-”

“I want cups.” she interrupted him and he looked down at her head that was resting on his chest. 

“Remember in the hospital…?” 

“How could I forget...” Kylo sighed, the thought still giving him chills.

“You were telling me not to leave you alone...” Y/N quietly whispered and he was shocked that she had even heard him in her weak state at the time.

“And I thought, that we didn’t even have the time to really plan our family. That I would leave you completely alone. And if something should ever happen again I want you to have at least a piece of me left with you...” hearing her voice break it immediately tucked at his heart strings and he wrapped his arms tight around her body.

“Oh Moonshine …” 

Y/N slowly robbed her way onto Kylo and brushed her tears away before she sat up on his lap. “Would you want some right now?” brushing over his chest he started to grin slightly. “You know I never could resist you...” he growled and let his hands wander up her side.

“Besides, I actually would love the idea to have a few little ones of our own, I guess our other little monsters warmed me up to the idea.”

“Perfect!” with one motion Y/N had pulled off her shirt and attacked him with kisses.

“Wait right now?!” he shouted surprised but already chuckled against her soft lips. Both of them giggling like lovestruck teenagers.

Walking through the leaf covered paths between the tents, Y/N tried to pull the cardigan closer around her figure. 

She was on her way to the big tent, since Kylo would finish his training at any minute. They had just arrived at this town yesterday and she was sure they would get to see the first snow of the year here.

Turning around the next corner she was suddenly attacked by three energetic bundles of joy.

“Mommy are they here already?!” one of the children called while it’s fluffy tail was wagging behind it.

“Sorry, my Darling but you still have to be patient.” Y/N told her little girl while one of the boys lifted her sweatshirt.

“Are you sure?” he asked and patted against the round baby belly.

“Yes my sweetheart, I’m pretty sure.” brushing over his head, she saw the little wolf ears poking out between his black curls.

The second boy was trying to shout out to the two babies inside of her, remembering them to wake up and come out to play.

Suddenly a loud and deep howl echoed through the area and the triplings gathered around their fathers legs to howl with him.

Lifting all three of them up with one arm, Kylo gave each of them a light headbutt.

“Didn’t I tell you little devils to go easy on your Mother?!” he asked them and they quickly started to pout.

“Oh don’t be so harsh to them… They are just excited to meet their new siblings.” Y/N cooed while pressing a loving kiss on each of their heads.

“Doesn’t mean they can run you over, my Love.” leaning down, Kylo gave her a gentle kiss on her smiling lips.

“EW!” the three rascals quickly jumped away from their fathers arm to run away.

“Hey where are you going?” he called after them with a wide grin.

“Stop teasing them so much, my Darling.” cuddling up against his side, Y/N looked after the three while they started to play catch.

“As soon as their little siblings are here they will realise how easy I was on them.” Kylo snickered and let out a barking laugh.

Shaking her head a little she suddenly grinned before taking Kylos hand to lay it on her round belly.

He could feel the usual kicks against his hand and his lips curled up in the widest smile.

Laying his arm around his beautiful mate he kissed her temple.

“Mommy!” her little girl, Trico hanging in her arms, was running back to them and quickly grabbing her mother's hand. 

“Luke heard whispers in a cave nearby. Do you think it is another friend?” 

“It could be, my little Sunshine. We will have to find out.” brushing through her little girls hair, Y/N walked alongside her gently smiling while Kylo followed a bit behind with a grin.

Soon they could see their two boys and the dragon stalking around the entrance of a small cave, where Y/N could hear the voice her son had noticed.

“What do you think, Darling? Do you want to help whoever it will be?” she asked her boy who nervously stared into the dark.

“Dad will help you. And you can take Morgana with you, he can light the way.” encouraging him, Kylo already lifted him up and sat him on his shoulders.

“Mommy can’t go so you have to help this time.” his father explained and the little boy hold tightly onto his father's head before he nodded.

After around half an hour while Y/N waited outside with the other two who started to play hide and seek, they soon could feel rumbling footsteps coming closer. Kylo came out of the cave, no sign of their little boy until a rubble of stone came out of the cave, a big figure made of stone standing in front of them her boy on it’s shoulders.

“Look mommy! It’s a golem!” he shouted excited and lead the creature out of the cave.

“You did great! I’m so proud of you!” Y/N called up to him, while shooting Kylo a light glare.

“What? He is fine up there.” Kylo shrugged his shoulders before soothing her with a gentle kiss on her soft lips.

Lifting her brow slightly her eyes softened, before she cuddled up against Kylos side, their children had already started to lead the golem towards the circus.

“They are wonderful siblings, even though Luke is the only one who can talk to creatures they support him.” she whispered and Kylo nodded proudly.

“Yeah, they will be wonderful when the other two will arrive.” laying his big hand against her belly, he could feel another nudge against it.

Bringing the golem back to their camp, Luke had the responsibility to translate for the director which he mastered perfectly. 

With flushed cheeks he cuddled up against Kylos legs who picked all three of them up. 

“We are very proud of you...” he reassured them, and all of them nuzzeld their heads against their fathers.

Cupping their faces, Y/N pressed a kiss on each of them before they started running through the paths again towards their tent.

It was a normal calm day, Y/N sat down with her girl to help her with her paintings, while Kylo tried to teach the boys how to control their wolfselfs until it was time to tug them in.

Each of them cuddled up with one of the creatures in their hammocks, while Y/N tugged them into their blankets and kissed them goodnight.

Looking at their sleepy faces while Kylo read them a good night story, Y/N wouldn’t be able to describe how thankful she was for this second chance.

Brushing through Kylos black locks, she sat down beside him and closed her eyes after resting her head on his shoulder, his deep voice echoing through the tent while she gently brushed over her round belly.

“Marmalade on toast and kakao would be nice...” she thought to herself and could feel Kylo pressing another kiss on her scalp.

“In a sweet mood today, I see.” he smiled. It was almost a year now since Kylo and her had joined the more than magical Circus and somehow he still couldn’t believe that he had found his Mate so randomly that night. “A little bit. Well while you get breakfast I will take a much needed bath.” she sighed deeply at the thought of the hot and relaxing water.

“Do that. If you’re lucky I even give you a nice massage after.” getting another kiss pressed against her cheek, she pulled him into a deeper kiss.

“If you don’t let me go I will never leave this tent, Moonshine.” Kylo whispered against her lips between her thousand kisses.

“Fine just one more.” she chuckled against his lips, kissing him a few more times before letting him go.

Making her way into their bathroom, she turned the hot water on. While waiting for the water she turned around to the mirror so she could brush her hair but suddenly noticed a bruise on her hip. Turning towards the mirror she inspected the darker spot on her skin and wondered where she had even gotten it. 

“Maybe it’s from Kylo ….” inspecting the rest of her body, she found a few more little ones which made her frown. “How…. ohhh they are probably from Trico.” sometimes when she had time she would let the Toriko return to his real height, which often confused the creature and he forgot how strong he was and pushed her harder than intended.

Hearing a purr, she looked down to find the small creature rubbing against her legs.

“Yeah I mean you, you need to be more careful with me.” she chuckled while picking him up, quickly turning of the running water.

“Let’s take a nice bath and then we can go pick Kou up for our walk.” she suggested, but it came very different. After her bath, Kylo and her spend their breakfast in bed until their friends came to pick the werewolf up for his training and Trico actually wanted to rather join them than go on their usual walk.

“Oh so you want to make a show with Kou too?” she asked the creature with a giggle and Kou poked tired out of Phasmas hair.

“He wants what?” the snake yawned.

“To make a show with you. You could fly on his back since his wings are healed now.” Y/N explained while Trico climbed on her shoulders to lay down on them.

“No! No flying for you!” Phasma said worried, but Kou was already jumping on Y/Ns outstretched hand.

“Oh hell yeah! We can take over the whole sky before we take the fucking world!” the little snake snickered and Phasma shot a glare at Kylo.

“What are you looking at me for?” the werewolf scoffed while their made their way to the big tent.

“Since he is hanging out with you, he is swearing non stop.” Phasma held up a finger, but Kylo only shrugged his shoulders. “He would do it one way or another. Besides, he is still a good boy. You never hear him swear at someone, just when he gets excited, right?” turning his head to Y/N, who nodded at his words.

“He only swears when he gets really happy. It’s a bit weird but not bad.”

“You say that now, until your own cups start swearing.”

“Oh they can swear all they want, as long as they are nice to others.” both of them answered in the same moment.

“Don’t worry about it too much, Kou is always lovely to be around. Nobody things that you are a bad mother if he curses a bit.” Y/N smiled up to the blond woman who slowly nodded.

Noticing a black smoke hecticly flying between their legs, it quickly vanished up Y/Ns body and into her hair until two magenta eyes glowed in the shadows.

Another creature Y/N had taken in from the last area they were in.

“Well hello my Darling, did you get your food?” she smiled and they all could hear loud crunching noises.

At this point she could’ve opened her own show with all the creatures that she had in her care now. 

While she was slowly walking behind the group a sudden gasp of wind was shaking the tents near them and she quickly held onto Kou Trico and her little shadow creature.

Kylo who was walking with the others suddenly noticed the metallic scent of blood in the air.

Turning back around he saw his mate standing alone, her eyes fixated on her hands that had just brushed away the blood that was dripping from her nose.

Immediately he turned back around and sprinted towards her, quickly laying an arm around her since he noticed the swaying in her body.

“What's wrong?” he asked worried while taking her hand and taking a closer look at the blood on her hands.

“I don’t know… it just suddenly happened...” rummaging in the pockets of her cardigan, she soon pulled out a handkerchief to press it on her nose.

Everyone already circled them worried.

“Want me to bring you to a doctor?” Kylo brushed the hair out of her face and inspected her every movement.

Shaking her head the slightest, the werewolf only reluctantly nodded but laid his hand against her cheek and noticed the unusual warmth.

“You seem to have a fever too… I’ll bring you at least back home to bed.” he offered and soon picked her up. 

“Let us now if we can help in anyway.” Finn offered and everyone nodded while watching them leave.

“It’s probably just a cold that creeped up on me ...” Y/N mumbled while cuddling closer against Kylos broad chest.

“I hope so moonshine, for now I will pamper you back to health.” pressing a light kiss against her forehead, he wondered if this was the reason why her blood smelled different.

Gently letting her down on the mattress, all the creatures that were in her arms before gathered next to her. Trico was gently pushing his head against her outstretched hand with a whine and laid down beside her.

“Are you very sick?” Kou hissed and she only shrugged with her shoulders. “It’s probably just a cold, nothing too serious.” she smiled at the snake while the black smoke was wrapping around her hand, letting out a few ticking noises.

“You don’t have to stay here if you want to play… besides Phasma will worry not knowing where you are.”

“I am always here, so she knows.” Kou slithered back towards her head, his cool body calming her warm skin slightly.

Kylo soon came back with a cold wet cloth for her forehead and her favourite sleeping shirt.

Getting rid of the blood stains around her nose and her hands, Kylo soon helped her into the new shirt.

“Here, this will help with the fever...”

Holding a pill and a glass of water her way, she gently took both and he waited for her to empty the whole glass.

“You need to get back soon… You can’t just stay here with me...” she mumbled while he just leaned his forehead against hers.

“Who says that?” he grinned slightly.

“I do. You have to train, love. The show must go on.” smiling back at him, she gently brushed over his cheek.

“I have the others with me, don’t worry. They will definitely keep me company, right?” both of them looked to the snake who nodded heavily, so that Kylo could understand his answer as well.

“Alright… get me if she needs anything.” he told Kou who nodded again and earned a gentle pat on the head, as well as Trico who was quietly laying next to Y/N. Carefully holding his hand also to the small ball of black smoke it zapped his finger and rushed back into the shadows under Y/Ns body.

“Fine I get it, your not ready yet.” he sighed and looked at his hurting finger.

“Those are lovebites, my Darling. You should know best, because you love to give them.” Y/N chuckled softly, her body succumbing to the exhaustion of the sudden fever.

“Try to sleep, I will be back sooner than you think.” letting his hand rest against her hot cheek for another moment, he watched her slowly drift off into her sleep.

Watching her sleeping face for a bit longer Kylo sighed deeply, he just really hoped it was nothing too serious.

“Get me if anything happens.” he told Kou again before he left them with a heavy heart.

“Here I got you the hot water and honey.” Kylo announced while sitting down on the driver seat, holding the travel cup to Y/N who was laying relaxed on the back seat, her drawing tablet on her lap while her foster children had made themselves comfortable around her. Trico was laying over her shoulders, snoring quietly while Kou was sitting on her hand, he had watched her draw since they had started their travel. Y/N had spread a blanket over her legs but a few glowing eyes where still watching him from under it.

“Ah thank you, that will warm me up.” she sighed relaxed while letting the warmth from the cup rise into her hands before she put a bag of tea in it and put some drops of honey in it.

“Do the little critters want some snacks?” he asked and shook the bag a little to the joy of the creatures that were still hiding. In an instant Kylo had them on his lap and gave each of them equal amounts of food.

“See they start to trust you.” Y/N smiled and watched them for a moment before her boyfriend gave her a bag of star crystals for Trico which he shared with Kou who also got a liking to them, then he thought it made his rainbow shining scales even more shining.

“Well I mostly can’t believe that you actually found a freaking dragon on the way...” he mumbled while watching the green scaled thing that was curled around her calve that watched him carefully.

“You said it yourself, I am the Mother of Creatures, first of her name. So bend the knee!” she chuckled, while shaking her head.

“We’re really watching too much shows at the moment.” he laughed while trying to hold a piece of beef jerky towards the dragon who carefully took a bite from it.

“Since we are hanging behind the group anyway… on the way there is a hospital ...”

“Kylo …. I’m feeling better!” slouching down a bit she took a sip from her tea.

“I know… I just think they could give you a small check up.”

“We have neither the time nore the money to even think of that. Your car repair had cost us enough this month and who knows how much they will take from someone like us for that little check up. Or if they even would help us...”

Seeing his worried face, she gently laid her hand against his cheek and smiled at him. 

“I’m better … ”

“Alright, but if you feel any different...”

“I’ll let you know.” brushing through his beard, she carefully leaned forward to place a soft kiss on his cheek.

“Fine… ” he pressed another kiss on the tip of her nose, before turning back around in the driver's seat to prepare for the last stretch until they would arrive at their next stop.

All creatures quickly shuffled back under the little safe space of her angled legs and Y/N carefully pulled the blanket back over them.

“Why did you lie to him?” she suddenly heard a quiet hiss in her ear before Kou looked at her.

“I didn’t. I do feel better.”

“Better than before, but not good.” Kou hissed while slithering on her tablet.

“Shhh...” kissing the top of his head, the snake shook his head and curled around her fingers as if he wanted to hold her hand.

At the next red light Kylo looked over his shoulders to find all of them sleeping peacefully in the back of the car.

Coming back from his training, Kylo found an empty tent when he returned.

“Where could she’ve been off to?” he mumbled to himself until something was flying right by his head. It was Trico and the little dragon, that Y/N had named Morgana, by now he really just needed to follow one of the foster children they had taken in to find his mate.

Slandering behind them they soon made their way into the kitchen tent, where he could see Y/N sitting on a wooden table, intently writing everything down what Sadie was telling her.

“There you are...” sitting down next to her, he pressed a gentle kiss on her head.

“Oh sorry, it was pretty spontaneous, but at some point I should learn how to feed our little monsters.” she chuckled then both Trico and Morgana tried to crawl into her shirt. 

“I see you brought Mellow too.” reaching out her hand, she picked the little shadow creature from the shadow under Kylos hair.

“Oh I didn’t even noticed them.” he answered honestly while leaning his head against hers.

“Well good for them that they all showed up now.” Sadie laughed while placing the plates on the table.

“That was all your Mamas doing, so eat up!” 

“I hope they even want to eat it. It was my first try.” but in an instant the little monsters where crawling on the table, trying to get the best pieces except for one.

“Kou? Aren’t you eating anything?” she asked the white snake that head wrapped itself around her head like a headband.

“I wait for the others to finish...” he hissed mid yawn. In the last few months Kou had gained a bit of length, which also meant that he tried to act more mature than the others, even though he was still just as playful as them.

While Y/N was talking with Kou, Kylo started to absently play with her fingers until he noticed something darker under the sleeve of her sweatshirt.

Pushing her sleeve up a bit he saw a few bruises which made him frown. He knew that since she cared for her little monsters she was more susceptible to get hurt since none of them were used to humans, but it made him worry even more. That weird smell was still lingering on her, even though she seemed to be rid of her cold her scent hadn’t changed back and it worried him.

“Kylo? Are you listening?” waving in front of his eyes, Y/N was pouting slightly while he shook out of his daze.

“S..sorry, what were you saying?” 

“I thought we might go out tonight and watch a movie or something… but you seem tired too.” laying her hand against his cheek, he just smiled at her. They hadn’t had a real date in a long time. 

“No, cinema sounds nice, if you still want to go.” 

“Can I come too?” Kou hissed interested and both of them nodded, after Y/N had asked Kylo. “But you have to act as my necklace until we are in the dark.” she explained and Kou agreed that it would be a more comfortable position for him.

After deciding on a movie together Y/N was making her way over to Phasma to ask her if she could watch her monsters this evening. 

Slowly making her way through the small paths between the tents, Kou slowly made his way around her neck. “Are you hurting again?” he asked worried while pressing his snout against her cheek. 

“I’m just a bit exhausted...” but even she was surprised by how out of breath she was already.

As soon as she entered the humid tent, the heat seemed to go straight to her head, and she quickly tried to hold onto something when she felt her legs get weak.

“Wh...whats wrong?” Kou asked until she suddenly fell to her knees, hearing how she panicky gasped for air made the little snake feel helpless until blood from her nose dripped down on him.

“What should I do?!” he slithered in a circle, almost screaming.

“G….get … Ky….” trying to get her words out, Y/N tried to push herself off the floor but had no strength left in her body.

Shocked Kou watched her sink down to the ground before his body finally started to listen to him again and he slithered out of the tent, screaming for his mother, since she was the only one who could understand him.

Kylo was sitting on the hood of his car, the thought that they would have a nice little evening for themselves, even if Kou would be with them had him excited.

It would be a nice relaxing evening, then he was already looking for a nice restaurant where they could go after the movie.

“Your grinning again like a creep.” Phasma suddenly appeared in front of him, holding a bucket of laundry against her hip.

“Yeah, Y/N and I want to go out today, she actually was on the way to your te-”

“Shh!” suddenly interrupting him mid sentence, the blonde woman looked distressed around which made him alerted too. 

Following her gaze he saw nothing, but the metallic smell of blood told him everything he needed to know. It was her blood.

Turning into his wolf form, he already sprinted right by Kou, who was still screaming and crying for his Mother, completely distraught and helpless.

Rushing into the tent, he found Y/N on the floor, the snakes trying to help her up again.

“I’m here!” was the first thing he almost shouted, while falling on his knees to pick her up.

“Everything will be alright...” 

“Ky… sorry...” Y/N tried to speak but Kylo shushed her. 

“It’s okay, don’t talk. I will get you to a hospital. Nothing will happen to you!” he wanted to run, but hearing Y/Ns painful whimper the only thing he could do was to walk as fast as he could while holding her as carefully as possible.

Ignoring everyone else, he was already placing her on his backseat and packing her into a blanket before leaving the circus with screeching tires.

He kissed her gently, trying to not get overwhelmed by his own instincts and the sweet smell from her that was lingering in his nose, but even he had problems to control himself.

The small breaths she let out between kisses, how her nails dug slightly in his skin and she pressed herself against him.

His hands that were resting on her hip carefully made their way up her sides under her shirt.

“Is this okay?” he asked while his lips traced along her neck.

Even now, she just nodded shyly before she cupped his face and kissed him again.

“B...but we can’t go too far, Ky...”

“Which doesn’t mean that I can’t at least please my sweet Moonshine.” helping her get rid of her shirt, Kylo immediately kissed along her collarbone and slowly made his way down her chest, along her stomach.

Her heart was fluttering in her chest like a hummingbird while she could feel Kylos lips kiss along the edge of her shorts.

Closing her eyes for a moment, Y/N relaxed until she heard a familiar hissing voice.

“Are you guys playing?”

Letting out a surprised scream Kylo quickly sat up to see what was wrong.

“Is everything alright?!” he asked before he noticed Koh on the edge of the bed.

“Awesome …” rolling with his eyes Kylo let out a frustrated scoff before sitting up. That moment was definitely ruined.

“What does he want?” he asked Y/N frustrated, since he couldn’t understand this annoying little snake.

Pulling over her T-Shirt again, she gently picked Koh up.

“Why are you here, sweety?” 

“Mama was wondering where you guys are. She was waiting so she sent me to look.” the small snake explained and Y/N only nodded.

Looking between the two, Kylo started to bounce with his leg. What the hell were they talking about? How could she even understand him. For him it still didn’t make any sense.

“So, what did he say?” he asked again and brushed a bit of hair behind Y/Ns ear.

Confused, she looked up at her boyfriend and he only raise his eyebrows in anticipation.

“Wait… you don’t understand him?” tilting her head slightly her brows furrowed.

“Of course not. Phasma is … was normally the only one.” he explained, pressing a gentle kiss against her temple.

“Oh … I thought ….” mumbling, almost to herself, she looked down at Koh again but he had already made his way from her hands to her hair.

“I thought everyone could… since Poe always reads to him… and you guys talk to him...” she looked up at Kylo who seemed to realise her thought process.

“No, my precious little Moonshine. Only you and Phasma can understand him. We only hear hissing or nothing.”

“B...but why can I? That doesn’t make any sense… I’m just human...” 

“We want to find that out… just give me a moment...” jumping from their bed he quickly ruffled through her hair before making his way to their bathroom, while Y/N tried to cool down her hot cheeks.

Being carried by Kylo, Y/N had her head leaned on his shoulder while she listened to Koh, who was telling her about the little adventure he had slithering around the circus all on his own.

“Why is he carrying you?” the small snake hissed while hanging on one of her strands of hair.

“I don’t know, he just did.” Y/N only shrugged her shoulder while cuddling closer against Kylos chest.

“Why are you carrying me, Darling?” 

“So he doesn’t have to fear a surprise attack from me!” Rey answered who suddenly appeared next to them.

“Exactly, so stay the fuck away from her.” Kylo immediately growled.

“Calm down, I’ll stay away… for now. I heard a few rumors though. That our sweet Y/N could be one of us.”

“That sweet Y/N can hear you guys! Just because I can talk to Koh you think that I’m not human anymore?” looking into Kylos eyes, he avoided them for a moment.

“It is a possibility… that you were never human to begin with.” as soon as she heard his words, Y/N started to struggle against his arms and landed on her feet.

“So you're telling me, that my parents lied to me my whole life about what I am?!” she almost shouted.

A bit ashamed she noticed that now everybody was looking at her, but when Kylo reached out to her, she slapped his hand away.

“We don’t know that yet… but we can find that out, together.” 

“And what if I don’t want to find that out? You didn’t even ask me!” she shook her head and held up her hands in defense before leaving them behind, walking back in the opposite direction. 

“Fuck...” Kylo cursed and ruffled through his hair. When he wanted to follow her Rey held him back.

“Give her a moment. She just needs to get over the first shock.”

“Don’t tell me what's best for MY mate, bitten!” pushing her arm away, Kylo stomped towards Phasmas tent. 

Immediately when the werewolf walked into the much warmer tent, hisses from every direction greeted him.

“Finally, where you guys too occupied or … where is Y/N?” Phasma had turned around a big Boa around her.

“She doesn't want to have anything to do with it.” he explained the current situation to the blonde woman who sighed.

“Why wouldn’t she want to find out the truth?” Phasma shook her head.

“Because if it is true that she is one of us, it means her whole life is a lie.” sitting down on the last free spot in this overfilled tent, Kylo ruffled through his hair again. He had been so curious himself that he didn’t think of Y/Ns feelings at all.

“Then what should we do? Do you still want to see if Poe and Finn found something out?” 

“Yeah… If they didn't find anything we just let it be.” he agreed.

“Then… let’s go. Where is Kou?” Phasma asked a bit worried that her child might have gone on another adventure.

“With her, she had him in her hair when she left.”

Only nodding, Phasma sat down the snake in her arms and both of them made their way to Finn and Poes tent.

Throwing a few things inside her bag, Y/N quickly shouldered it when Kou suddenly hung in her face.

“Where are we going?” he hissed excited and tried to hold onto the last strand of hair he could grab.

“Oh sweety. I forgot you were there.” Holding a hand under him he let himself fall and curled around her fingers.

“So no adventure?” 

“We can go on a little one… What do you say we go to the little waterfall nearby that we saw last time?” 

Seeing the little snakes excited nod, Y/N smiled and held onto him while she made her way into the nearby forest.

“Why are we not with the others?” the small snake asked after a while and Y/N sighed.

“I just wanted some time alone.” Y/N answered honestly and pushed some branches aside they could already hear the gurgling water nearby.

“Should I leave then?” the small snake asked a bit disappointed.

“Oh no my Darling. I love having you around.” with a light smile she kissed the top of Kous head who hissed delighted.

Wandering through the tall grass, Kou was constantly telling her about stuff that he encountered on his way to their tent or the stuff he wanted to do today.

Y/N listened intently, knowing that the little one loved to talk to someone other than his mother.

“And I stole some extra chicken, but don’t tell Mama.” he hissed while bouncing up and down on her hand.

“Don’t worry, your chicken secret's safe with me.” Y/N grinned, before she turned around the next big tree to see the waterfall from afar.

“Ready to go for a little swim?” smiling down at the white snake he seemed surprised.

“You don’t wanna draw first?” he asked back, pointing with his tail at her bag.

“No, let’s have some fun instead.” placing her bag onto the ground next to a few rocks, Y/N took a last look around before she started to undressed herself until she was just in her underwear.

“So, you found … basically nothing? Just a bunch of theories what she may or may not be?” Kylo scoffed annoyed while brushing his hair back.

“Well… we at least could eliminate a lot of what she couldn’t be. Definitely no vampire, werewolf, snake person or a shapeshifter. Same with merpeople, otherwise she would’ve known a long time ago. Sadly we don’t have any access to the ministry's register...” Finn mumbled, while listing all the things they had found out so far.

“You missed changeling, in the list of what she could be. In europe we had lots of them.” Rey was leaning against a pole at the entrance. “Didn’t I make it very clear that you should keep away?!” Kylo screamed at her but Rey only rolled her eyes.

“Your precious mate isn’t here right now, so calm your balls. Besides she is my friend too and I want to help her.” the smaller werewolf defended herself.

Phasma laid a hand on Kylos shoulder and for a moment he only growled before he closed his eyes and nodded slightly.

“Fine… and what exactly is a changeling?”

“The child of a fairy. Fairies often replaced a human child with their own so it had a better chance in the world and to rescue their bloodline.” she slowly explained and sat down with them.

“Some never find out what they really are and live their lives as normal humans. Or find out very late just like Y/N. It’s better if she finds it out now than later.”

Kylo bit his lower lip while listening to Reys words and automatically started to bounce with his leg.

“If she really is a fairy … how can we find that out?”

“Well… that depends on what kind of fairy she is...”

“Oh for fucks sake, how many are there?!”

“I’ll look it up.” Poe nodded and already started to type down on his laptop.

Slithering around her body, Kou seemed to have a fabulous time, while Y/N was just floating on the cool surface of the water.

“Do you think I can catch a fish?” the snake asked excited and looked down into the water.

“I think you are still a little too small for that.” she giggled in response and scratched the snake under his tiny chin.

“I’m not small! I’m still growing! I will be big and strong like Jörmungandr!”

“The world serpent? Of course you will my Darling. I have no doubt about it.” picking him out of the water she brushed over his scaled body.

“Can we go and see if a treasure hides behind the waterfall?”

“You really listen too many of Poe's pirate stories…” she sighed with a grin but still started to swim towards the waterfall when the ground suddenly started shaking.

“Earthquake?” the small snake hissed scared but Y/N shook her head while holding him close.

“No, it sounds more like footsteps...” seeing the ripples that the rhythmic rumbling did to the water, gave Y/N goosebumps.

Quickly diving into the water she swam under the waterfall to find a small cave behind it. Her whole body started to tremble and she wasn’t even able to say if it was from the cold in this cave or the supposed footsteps that seemed to come closer and closer.

Kou wanted to say something but she quickly held close his little snout.

“Shhh...”

Trying to listen closer, a dark shadow suddenly appeared in front of the wall of water. Since she was shivering so much, it was easy for Kou to slip through her fingers and back into the water, his curiosity getting the best of the little snake.

“No, Kou don’t!” Y/N shout whispered but the snake had already made it’s way past the waterfall.

“Hello friend!” she could hear a little hiss before a loud roar echoed through the whole forest.

Pressing her hands onto her ears, Y/N waited until it stopped a tear slowly streaming over her cheek.

“K...Kou?” even her voice was shaking.

Taking a deep breath, Y/N shut her eyes for a moment before she counted to five and jumped back into the water to look for her little friend.

Swimming back through the waterfall she quickly brushed the water out of her eyes, until she gasped at the creature that was standing in front of her.

“... Shadow Fairies, Thunder fairies, Gold fairies, Flower fairies, Animal fairies-”

“Okay stop!” Kylo mumbled defeated, exhausted from the long list poe was reading out to them.

“This is getting us nowhere if we don’t even know if she really is one or not.”

“But it would suit her.” Phasma chuckled lightly.

“Mhmm kind of ...” a light smile was tugging on Kylos lips when he thought about it until he suddenly sat up and took a whiff of the unfamiliar scent he was smelling, mixed with Y/Ns sweet scent.

“You smell that too, bitten?”

“Sure do...” she nodded her brows knitted in concentration until the rumbling footsteps brought the ground too shaking.

Sprinting outside Finn and Poes tent, Kylo changed into his wolf form to quickly make his way towards the bending trees that were announcing the approach of something big.

Stopping at the edge of the circus he saw Y/N who was slowly walking backwards, apparently leading whatever was coming their way.

“It’s okay, just a little more and we are home!” she called over and Kylo got a glimpse of glowing eyes.

“What the hell is that?” the others had caught up to him and were staring at the situation in front of them.

“No no, it’s okay. Nobody will hurt you here I promise.” taking a few more steps back, the creature slowly walked out between the trees.

“Definitely an Animal Fairy...” everyone suddenly agreed and Kylo only sighed while he looked at the creature that was at least 19 feet tall.

“Mama, look! We made a new friend!” Koh was already calling to Phasma.

“I can see that, sweety.” the blonde woman nodded but watched the whole scene with suspicion.

Suddenly the gigantic creature let out a loud roar before he leaned down his head so Y/N could reach and pet him.

With a chuckle she leaned against it’s big head and brushed through the grey fur before she noticed the others.

“Hey is the director here? Trico is hurt and needs medical attention.” she called over and Kylo nodded to Rey who made her way to the directors caravan.

“So his name is Trico?” he asked his girlfriend who nodded.

“Short for Toriko, I guess it’s more like the name of his species, but he was okay with this name.”

Slowly approaching them Kylo took a closer look at Trico. First he thought it was some kind of griffin or chimera, but he seemed like a complete different hybrid type.

“Hey big guy. What is your problem?” seeing the broken horns on the creatures forehead and the distraught state of his wings he could guess.

Kylo laid his big hand on the creatures head who let out a loud purr. 

“Does he have a family? Because I’m not sure if he can stay with us...” Kylo explained to Y/N who was immediately pouting.

“That should be fine, a shrinking rune and he can travel with us.” the director was standing behind them and inspected the big bird cat.

Trico flicked with his ears and squinted his eyes in relaxation.

“He is happy to not be alone anymore.” Y/N spoke the silent words of the creature that only she could understand.

“Would you stay here with him? We will prepare food, medication and a place for him to rest.” the director laid a hand on Y/Ns shoulder and she nodded with a smile.

“Sure, he is good company. Right Trico?”

Letting out another quieter roar the big creature rolled on his side. 

“Kylo follow me. You others help Sadie prepare his food. She should know what to do.” the director ordered and everyone scattered.

“I heard about your little research meet up this morning.” the tall director looked down at the werewolf.

“Did you know she wasn’t human?”

“Of course. After careful research. Even though she didn’t know herself and believed to be a human, I was first against it, but I trusted your and your friends decision, so you better not disappoint me. We had enough conflicts in the past.”

“Y/N would never do something that would harm us.” Kylo defended her and the tall Director nodded.

“That was my impression of her. Especially now that she is showing her real potential.” “So what is she exactly?” 

“An animal fairy wasn’t so far off from what she is. But her specialty seems to lie with our kind rather than normal animals. That is why Kou can speak with her but the other snakes can’t. That is also why this Toriko seaked her out. They don’t trust easily, because others will try to steal their horns and disable them. You can be proud of her.”

“I am.” Kylo smiled.

“Good, because I think she will make this group grow very fast if she finds a creature in every city.” the director laughed.
