“It’s a blood moon,” Morrigan observed, their strides parallel as they moved through the break in trees and out into the opening. “If you take a look at Satina, it still holds it’s pale color. 'Tis fortunate for us that we get to witness something so beautiful this evening.” 

“An understatement would be, if you get possessed and shouted out ‘whoops my bad’. You deliberate would a demon possess you? Is that what you want actually. Or do you think you will still regain your free will.”

––––– The thing about soldiers were they were always ready to fight, but they listened to commands. Cullen’s group of warriors weren’t always soldiers and it meant that some were much more ready to brave the front lines but on their own accords. He had been struggling to contain their efforts, but they were doing good and the casualties were small and he was doing his best to keep it that way. He had half a mind to swing his own sword out in front of her to stop her instead of raising his voice, but his booming echo could be heard all around them. “You will not advance until I tell you to! Stand down and wait until it’s time.” 

“Never met any of your kind,” she said calmly, eyes still shifting over the legionnaires now and then. “What do you fight for?”
