The decision comes after concerns over the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, with many students claiming they lost marks despite correct step-wise answers. Some JEE aspirants reportedly scored 99 percentile in entrance exams but failed to secure the required 75% in board exams for IIT/NIT admissions.
CBSE clarified that only a small number of answer sheets faced scanning issues and affected copies were manually reviewed before results were announced.
