Savor succulent shrimp in a creamy, buttery, garlicky sauce with this mouthwatering Spicy Butter Garlic Shrimp Pasta. It's very simple to prepare this restaurant-caliber dish at home!
Ingredients: 8 oz linguine pasta. 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tbsp unsalted butter. 1 tbsp olive oil. 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes. Salt and black pepper to taste. 1/4 cup chicken broth. 1/4 cup heavy cream. 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese. Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish.
Instructions: Pasta linguine should be cooked as directed on the package. After draining, set aside. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter and olive oil in a big skillet over medium-high heat. Add the red pepper flakes and minced garlic. Saut for one to two minutes, or until aromatic. Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper after adding them to the skillet. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until they become opaque and pink. Take out and place aside the shrimp from the skillet. Combine grated Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and chicken broth in the same skillet. Once the sauce thickens, stir and simmer for two to three minutes. To coat the cooked shrimp with the creamy sauce, return them to the skillet and stir. When the linguine pasta is cooked, add it to the skillet and thoroughly mix everything. Add some fresh parsley as a garnish and drizzle with the leftover tablespoon of butter. Enjoy while hot!
