Did it mutate into a monster? YES!!!

Are those conversation bits appearing later in the final draft? WHO KNOWS but they are fun ...

Do I have 126 handwritten pages of notes to build this world the story plays in? ALSO YES (we are talking color coded BASIC information - not even started to actual fucking WRITE the actual story....) I AM DOOMED for the forseeable future..

Did the vampire idea survive? SADLY NO - the original creator of the AU universe, in which the first mental draft of this bunny romped around in, unfortunately never answered my request for permission to romp around through her jAU-brainchild.... and I am respecting that.

So i kind of had to build a new universe from scratch? YEAH.... and it kind of mutated for plots sake into a mulit-verse-crossover .... sorry! but it has dragons now instead of vampires and very importantly: Resslington is still the main focus... so fun is being had.

Donnie is putting himself thru shitty community college, trying to be a Big Man and handle his own shit bc his mom is struggling after his dad dies and Robby is who the fuck knows where and he just doesn't want to be a Burden. He's young and pretty, tight and fit so why not take advantage of that? Who gives a shit that he's barely 20 bc he carries himself like he's older. Plus nobody's really looking at him twice for being more than a hot piece of ass.

Red can be a successful business man (as is true of Pretty Woman) or a fucking loan shark or maybe some mob boss (which could be Fun). He needs something pretty and young to hang off his arm, some social event he REALLY doesn't have time for but has to go to. Resigned himself to just suffering thru going it alone but at a red light, there's this boi in tiny denim shorts, fishnets, a crop top and Red decides he's going to scandalize the elite so he rolls the window down.
