I say this as someone who fucking loved K-Pop Demon Hunters
I mean I have no chill if I like something I get obsessed, Iāve been listening to songs on repeat, Iāve rewatched it like 4 times etcā¦
It would be incredible if it got a sequel, two sequels, 10 sequels, a prequel, a series, whatever.
But, if they do a live-action remake Iām canceling my Netflix subscription.
Respect animation, do those fucking Netflix executives really think the movie is so popular in spite of its animation! No the breathtakingly beautiful, energetic and fun animation was one of the selling points.
I swear to god, an animated movie does crazy numbers, and makes them a ton of money and their first thought isnāt letās invest in more original animation. Itās letās do this again but with less imagination and creativity. The disrespect for animation as a medium is staggering.
I mean Zoeyās eyes turning into corn which popped into popcorn with Mira eating the eye popcorn was peak camp, try doing that in live-action and not have it look uncanny valley as fuck.

Youād think people would learn their lesson and respect the animation medium and a respected art form and storytelling medium even in its own community of supposed āanimation loversā but I guess not.
This is getting redundant and 100%. Why I donāt think REAL fans of any animated film that has came out in the past have are REAL fans.
Remakes are only nectary when you can make something better. You canāt make something already GOOD, better.
