Clare garage kit assembled and painted by me. . . Brought this resin kit years ago off of eBay. To be honest it wasn’t the best kit either, especially the faulds and sword, those were poorly cast. In one pic you can see the faulds don’t really sit well, I probably could have spent more time workin on them but I just wanted to be done with it. And I mean I can go back and work on them whenever really. It was definitely a fun experience but dealing with small parts that you’ve broke was a pain, lol! I am working on a new DGM Kit for a while.
I am turning this Touken Ranbu figure into Teen Kanda. The clothes will stay the same, but I modify the katana and the hair. Unfortunately the clear resin was bad quality and yellowed. I don't know if I can stil paint the hair blue, maybe I can't paint it in clear colors.
For his bangs I clipped some hair from the ponytail and added it to the bangs. I filled the gaps with uv-resin and did a loooot of sanding.
For the ponytail I glued the parts into each other, bend them, made them shorter and also added lots of uv-resin, and yeah of course sanding
Body is done! What do you guys think? For my first resin kit I thought I did pretty good!

I didn't use a primer. Just acrylics i use for normal paintings with water and airbrush. For masking: kip tape 3308 and latex.
