Not fiction I am looking specifically for books on the day to day, layers of clothing, types of armor and weapons, etc. Preferably with lots of illustrations please! I am bad at research because of spicy brain and am strong visual learner. I want to explore what I learn via textiles and crafts.

I am writing a novel and I was looking into African witchcraft seeing if yall had something equivalent to an Ouija board in any of the witchcraft/occult stuff. Sorry for my ignorance. In my book a group of friends try to talk to the dead, and I wanted to not use a oujia board cuz I feel that may be a more white person thing (specifically like the board game one)

Is there simply a more culturally appropriate one in African witchcraft or is there something different and unique when talking to the spirit world?! I read on a handful of religions but I still had trouble finding that answer.

I'd love personal accounts (why you believe what you do, experiences with pro/antishippers, etc), studies that you feel prove your point, definitions of terms (what is being proship or antiship to you?), and recommendations for people to reach out to. I should've downloaded a copy years ago but didn't think to do it, and now it requires a login to access (which I do not have) -- no luck witht eh Wayback Machine, either, and searching the interviewer just keeps getting me information on a football player

I'm going to be entering a new lab! For security reasons, I can't share the name of it, but I'm going to be studying identity formation and intelligence acquisition. If anyone has any good resources, please share!

Identity formation: studying the formation and maintenance cycles of identity. I have experience with DID systems both in real life and online spaces, so I'm excited to use that knowledge in this space.

Intelligence acquisition: This isn't AI, this is studying how humans as a whole learn in order to make a more efficient system than the ones that wastes so much resources. I've heard the lab has yet to be successful with this project at all, so it must be a difficult task!

I got in because I have expertise in machine learning basics and a minor in psychology and mathematics. :) My previous projects were: co-creative game design AI processes, AI in education, and a religious LLM model that I trained to answer religious inquiries! I'm excited to be switching my focus from AI to more mathematical systems (mostly because AI, since I started researching it back in its infancy, has become such a hot topic button I want to start steering away from it)
