mila being a mama bear:

we BEEN know the boys are super protective of lala

but it goes both ways!! she’s both super subtle about it and super in your face about it

one of the most angry shes been is when they did their beyond concert and people were flashing them

she immediately went from smiling to scowling. death glares.

she was holding onto yangyang (he was next to her) real tight, because sexual harassment is really not fucking cool

and she was hanging onto YANGYANG so people knew she was pissed

she went live THE NEXT DAY and the first thing she did was scold everyone

“if you’re a fan of us, why would you go out of your way to harass us? it’s ugly behavior. if you do that to us, you’re not a fan. flashing us is out of line.”

she said it in english, mandrin, canto, AND korean

she popped off she meant business

another big thing is the saesangs

whenever the guys get called during lives she’s shown the numbers on camera, or answered and told them to stop calling

if anyone EVER spams hate comments (she doesn’t care about her’s- it’s all about her boys)

she sighs REAL loud and glares at the camera if the member has noticed (let’s be real- they notice)

and then she says something around the lines of

“thank you to our fans for saying nice things. if you’re not being nice, leave.”

and when people follow them, she flips them off or tells them to fuck off .. it’s been caught on camera a lot

airports? yeah no she crazy

mila is arguably the most targeted/pushed one at airports but if anyone gets CLOSE to pushing/injuring/harassing the guys, she’ll get in the way of it and glare

tbh lala can be SCARY so she’s good at getting people to back off

also she gets protective of them in front of other idols

this is more behind the scenes, tbh

whenever anyone is interested in the guys, she’s Mama Bear Mode because she wants the best for them

oh my god she’s the worst with yangyang

she is so protective over him it’s insane .. if any girls are in his life she’s watching like a HAWK and insists on knowing her/about her because her yangyang deserves the world and nothing less

in the public and in their personal lives, if someone does something to upset one of the guys, she’ll do what she can to fix it and call it out

tbh beetles nd weishennies really really got shocked at first because mila has always just been. super chill. but when it comes to the boys she will speak up

i mean at first, the guys would hear her crying and it hurt them that she was hurting

and lala just kinda laughs and shoves their shoulder but everyone knows that she appreciates it and it touches her heart that they care so much

when saesangs call her they don’t do much because she shows the numbers or tells them to stop calling like she does with the boys

people really are mean to her in public and don’t cheer as much for her, or yell out horrible names

she’s been called a bitch more times than she can count but she takes it in stride and refers to herself as a bitch and once shared that she had to rewrite some of her demo raps for songs that she wrote, because she the company didn’t want her calling herself a bitch

but yes the guys scowl and say stuff whenever she’s called bitch, slut, etc

and AIRPORTS holy shit

i swear some people make it their mission to try and hurt her

so the guys like lala to walk between them

lucas in particular assigns himself to be her bodyguard

i’ve said it before, but he holds her shoulders and guides her or puts an arm around her

literally all of them have had to save her from being pushed/grabbed/tripped

jimin jolted awake, eyes wide and breathing heavily.

she didn’t even remember what dream had woken her up. she just felt... despair. it freaked her out.

and she didn’t recognize the room she was in at first, having to take a few seconds to find her bearings.

“shh, shh... you were dreaming.”

she looked up to chenle, sitting next to her, propped up on the headboard.

jimin looked down at the white sheets she was tangled in, and quickly realized she had fallen asleep in chenle’s room while they watched tv.

daegal had fallen asleep between them, the little baby, but had awoken when she did. the puppy’s head was cocked to the side, adorably.

she then realized something else- the room was dark. it was night.

“what time is it?” she asked, sleepily, the bad feelings gone. she felt safe in chenle’s house, with him.

chenle checked his watch. “one forty-seven.”

“in the morning?! you should be in bed, lele...”

he grinned. “and you should have left hours ago- but i let you sleep. those promotions were a lot for you all.”

“they always are,” jimin snuggled closer to him, cold as always, despite the blankets. she giggled when daegal yawned and licked her cheek.

chenle lazily messed with the ends of her hair. “bad dream?”

she looked up at him. “i dunno. i can’t remember it. just a bad feeling when i woke up.”

the glow of the tv lit their faces just enough to see each other. jimin felt that her face was puffy and her eyes were sleepy, but she was comfortable.

“do you want to go back to sleep?” chenle asked. “my mom made extra food for you if you wanna stay up, but i know you’re tired.”

she laid her head on chenle’s shoulder. truthfully, she was exhausted- she hadn’t been sleeping well, and promotions kicked her ass. she couldn’t imagine how the other girls felt, especially mila, about to have another comeback with wayv. and yet...

“i’ll stay up,” she replied, closing her eyes when she felt chenle’s head rest atop her’s. “your mom is my favorite... i’ll eat later. let’s watch another movie, yeah?”

she somehow felt chenle’s smile.

“why did you get to pick what we’re doing?” hyuck whined, pouting when lily grabbed his hand to tug him along the street with her.

jimin didn’t understand what was so wrong with going to a bookstore. when she really thought about it, though, it might have been because of how distracted she could be around books.

she smiled as they approached the shop she frequented- it was smile, but had a wide selection.

“i thought we were getting food,” hyuck grumbled, behind her.

he held the door open for her and she nearly skipped in.

“thank you,” she said, with a smile that reached her eyes. he could recognize it even with the mask.

“and don’t fret,” she told him, over her shoulder. “i have something specific i’m looking for, and then we’ll get something to bring home.”

“i want samgyeopsal.”

“deal.”

“i found it!”

hyuck walked over to jimin, who was grinning and inspecting the novel.

“it’s chinese?” he wondered, looking at the characters.

“yes, i’m trying to practice more. it was written by yu hua in the early nineties. it’s called ‘to live’!”

“what’s it about?” he asked, smiling. her enthusiasm was contagious and he loved to see her happy. “you said you were looking for it.”

“yes! it takes place beginning in the chinese civil war, but it extends past that to the cultural revolution and everything. i don’t know the specifics, but i know that it’s full of death and extreme hardships,” she mused, walking to the check out counter.

“you love your depressing novels,” he teased, as she swiped her card.

“it’s more real,” she answered, while they left, seriously. “you learn more and experience more with a complex plot and a wider range of feelings and experience.”

he smiled softly at jimin, his little sister, and thought fondly about how intelligent and thoughtful she was.

“well, tell me about it as you read it. i want a full book report!”

she laughed, swatting his arm. “you know i would even if you didn’t ask. samgyeopsal time?”

“i thought it’d never come!” he wailed, dramatically.

“come on- this is not the oscars, stop being so dramatic.”

“are you telling me you don’t see it?!”

hyuck sat with jimin in her new dorm. the other girls were all out together, and jimin had turned them down in order to see him.

it warmed his heart.

hyuck took a bite of his lunch, shrugging.

“i never thought about it, and i don’t really know ningning, so i couldn’t say much.”

“okay, well, i do,” she stressed. “so trust me when i say she and jisung would be the cutest couple on the planet!”

“does jisung even like her?!” hyuck had to admit, jimin had great romantic intuition, and the conversation was funny.

“no... i don’t know, actually.” jimin grinned. “but he thinks he’s pretty. and it’s just a thought.”

“if jisung dates someone before me, i’m going to be mad.”

“make a move then, bro,” she encouraged, taking a sip of the champagne she poured for herself earlier. “young love. it’s crazy.”

“speaking of young love,” hyuck had a devilish grin.

“no,” she interjected, glaring. “not today. just let me enjoy being with my fullsun.”
