SIDS Launches Operation De-COVID-19 To Support Migrant Workers
COVID-19 has disrupted our livelihoods greatly, especially those of our migrant workers, who have been hit extremely hard by this pandemic.
To support our migrant workers during this troubling time, the Society of Interior Designers - Singapore (SIDS) has worked with the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) to launch 'Operation De-Covid-19', a fundraising campaign selling uniquely-designed t-shirts👕 to unite everyone against COVID-19.
Mr Zaqy Mohamad, Senior Minister of State for Manpower, has expressed his support for the migrant workers and this project. He has also showed his hope and optimism that everyone will unite and come out strong from this global crisis.
10 local designers from various disciplines have pitched in to create 10 special T-shirt designs for this project:
1. Andrew Loh and Kenny Lim
2. Damian Tang
3. Jackson Tan
4. Janice Wong
5. Keat Ong
6. Kelley Cheng
7. Kenny Hong
8. Khairudin Saharom
9. Look Boon Gee
10. Peter Tay

💰 All proceeds, along with donations from the public, will go to the Migrant Workers’ Assistance Fund, the beneficiary of the Migrant Workers’ Centre.
