For those that don’t know who these two men are:

The one on the left is Mike Pompeo.

He was the Director of the CIA in 2018. He headed one of the intelligence agencies that said Russia interfered in the 2016 election.

He is the current Secretary of State. He is 4th in the line of succession for the presidency.

He refused to submit to a subpoena to appear before the House for the impeachment inquiry. He refused to hand of documents related to the impeachment inquiry. He now thinks Ukraine should be investigated for 2016 election meddling.

The man on the right is John Roberts.

He is a Supreme Court Justice and in fact serves as the highest judge in the land as the Chief Justice. He is the man that will oversee the Senate trial for Trump’s impeachment and removal from office.

They attended the Kennedy Center Honors, December 15, 2019.

Roberts knew what this would look like and he went anyway.
