Niantic: Yeah we're severely limiting the amount of remote raids you can do to basically phase it out bc the 1% of the player base that exclusively did remote raids eventually stopped playing so we think it'll harm the community long term
My brother in Christ, the players who exclusively play remote raids are the ones without access to local gyms. No shit they're gonna stop playing eventually the game fucking redlines you out of being able to do anything but remote raids if you don't live in the downtown portion of a major city.

My Thoughts on the PoGo price changes$
So I’m supposed to do in person raids at the one Pokémon gym near me in the near constant inclement weather without a reliable community or nearby raid team???
Literally I mostly just do remote raids using a Facebook group. Now we’d have to coordinate based one who has/can afford passes and who hasn’t reached their limit???
This rule affects players in smaller towns disproportionately. I don’t see the need to go back to what it was before COVID when easily accessible passes were better for the average player. It’s not like we can all live in big cities with pokestops every few feet. These seem like huge steps backwards.
