i'm surprised when people talk about jugdral's child hunts as if they're some super dark thing that's stopping the game from being localised, as if children being in mortal peril from the villains is somehow out of place in a children's series. a spider will kill a little girl in sacred stones if you let it!
the only thing I would definitely expect to be localised in a hypothetical fe4 remake is some of the second gen pairings. I imagine a lot of them would go from implicitly romantic to a lot more vague, like lucina / owain in awakening or a lot of the kana romances in fates.

When they remake fe4, I feel like they're going to flatten Lana's character down into either a copy of Noire or a copy of Faye, and frankly, I don't know which one would be worse.

FE3 is a better game than FE12.
I don't hate the way it looks like some others seemingly do, but the DSFE art style is still considerably worse than the SNES pixel art. I also don't hate Kris, and some of their scenes are actually pretty good, but it is unfortunate that a vast majority of the support conversations in the game are just them talking to some Archanea character. The higher difficulty modes are very great, but also remove some of the most fun parts of FE3, like Warp (and different dragonstones by extension), Anew, and the growth-altering starshards.
Anyway, all that plus the existence of Book 1 still makes FE3 the definitive way to experience the entirety of Marth's Story, imo.

I feel like most discussions of unlocalised fe games are around fe4. This makes sense since fe1-3 have been remade and there are a lot of rumours/hopes of a fe4 remake. That said, I would like to talk about fe5 and especially fe6 more.

Tbh I think I speak for everyone that I'm kinda over a "from the ground up remake" of a game being a way to revive a dead ip.
Like on one hand I get it, all the design work is done so it's fairly cheap and easy to make, but on the other I HATE that it doesn't guarantee a new installment, and if it doesn't reach companies ridiculously high sales hopes they go "oh you didn't buy a 60$ remake of a game you already own 0.5 seconds after launch? It's now YOUR FAULT that this series is dead forever now! Wait 20 years for the next remake"
Like ..just make a lower budget sequel? It's not that hard
