I was sorta thinking about it
In "Gods of LS," Ryan isn't really all about murder and killing. I mean he is, but not really. Ryan's, more so, the awkward God who's lived in isolation for so long. Once he got back to the surface after thousands of years, he's awkward and nerdy about his interactions with modern humans. Just because he's death doesn't mean he has to be scary. He's curious, but he basically has to kill to survive, (even though gods are immortal). He's an emotionally soft boy.
Gavin's oblivious, Michael's doing the best he can, Jeremy's still figuring it all out, Jack's holding everything together, Geoff's dealing with everyone's bullshit, and Meg's got it all planned out.
