This red gown was first seen on an extra in the 2022 second season of 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒐𝒏, in the episode 𝑶𝒇𝒇 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒔.   The costume was seen again in 2024 when Eliza Bennett wore it as Harriet in Hallmark’s 𝑨𝒏 𝑨𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝑰𝒏 𝑨𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏.   While the 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒐𝒏 costume department certainly made clothes for extras, the fact that this piece appeared in a different production after 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒐𝒏 (rather than a later season of 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒐𝒏) leads me to believe that this costume was not created for 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒐𝒏 but was instead rented and returned.   Where do you think this costume could have originated?
